I am a time served Painter & Decorator since 1985 and have over 20 years experience in the trade offering a complete decorating service including, small carpentry works. We have worked on various contracts from family homes to country estates and always carry out the work to a very high standard,  

We also take on commercial work including offices, public houses and shops. We try to be as competitive as possible while offering and carrying out good quality work. We also specialise in wall papering walls & ceilings, dry lining, and tiling.

Paint the whole of the inside of a house in Portsmouth

Dave painted the whole of the inside of a house in Portsmouth for me in preparation for letting. I was very happy with what he achieved as there was a lot of preparation work given the house had been let out previously for 10 years. Dave finished the job within the timescale we agreed despite the condition and the weather which made drying more difficult. I found him very personable, he arrived when he said he would and was willing to turn his hand to other tasks such fitting some skirting board and boarding up a fireplace. I would definitely use Dave again, particularly for a job where an excellent finish is required, and am happy to recommend him to others.

Prepare and paint 4 rooms including hall, stairs and landing

Dave provided well prepared and excellent finish. He was extremely helpful with other small problems, gave very good advice. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He is a lovely person, hard working and we would highly recommend him.

Hall wall papered and painted

Dave is a fantastic worker, having had a terrible experience from a decorator on check a trade, I was reluctant to use again. However, I needn't of worried. Dave has made an excellent job and put right what was looking a disaster ,I am so pleased. I would definitely recommend him and have. The only reason I have given him 9 points for workmanship, is as Dave said "there is always room for improvement".

Whole house completely re-decorated - painting, woodwork replacement

Having just moved to a new area we had no contacts and were worried that no one would be as good as our 'old' painter. Boy, were we lucky to find Dave! Everything I expect in a professional tradesman, always willing to go the extra mile and offer constructive advice and solutions. His preparation work was excellent. In addition, he rebuilt and painted a tatty old hall cupboard, replaced skirting, and replaced or repaired as he went along. Above all, and this was most important, he was a good bloke! Polite, intelligent, clean and tidy in his work, accommodating and generally a pleasure to have around. Need I say more?

1 Bed Apartment in Country House Refurb and Completely Redecorated

Fantastic Work! - plaster boarding, bathroom tiling, kitchen fitted and all completely re-decorated throughout to the highest standards in record time! Decorated Hall Landing and Stairs and guest bedroom following water damage

Dave Bew's straight 10s is well justified and he lives up to that standard. The required work was completed very quickly and to a very high standard exceeding even my high expectations. I was particularly impressed with the excellent preparation which eliminated the damage caused over the years of use and abuse that the rooms had been subjected to. Each evening Dave and his crew cleared away dust-sheets etc to allow unhindered access to the Hall Landing and Stairs. Not only did he do an outstanding job he was excellent value for money too.
