Gas hob fitted in domestic property

Edward responded within 24 hours of our request for his services . He was helpful in explaining the gas regulations but did not treat me like an idiot. A very nice chap and registered with Gas Safe which is reassuring..

Replace a three way valve that was stopping water getting to downstairs radiators

Edward was on time when he came out to us. He diagnosed the problem straight away. He replaced the offending valve and quickly resolved the problem. He cleared up after he had finished and was at all times polite. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Newman to anyone looking for a plumber.

Replacing a thermostatic radiator valve to fix a leak

Ed explained what needed replacing and did so quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend him.

Installed full gas central heating system - combi boiler and 7 rads

Ed turned up when he said he would, stayed in touch and was always contactable. He is polite and works in a tidy way, we found him very good to deal with. The price on the quote was the price we paid and it was extremely good value for money. He listens to what you ask him to do and discusses things sensibly. Highly recommended.

Removing and replacing radiators

Its the second time I've used Ed and once again can't fault him! Reliable, tidy, considerate and courteous and friendly.

Re-worked and installed new plumbing for washing machine and dishwasher. Also installed new stopcock for raising main and cut down waste pipes from existing three to one. Also advised on re-positioning of gas feed for cooker.

Mr Newman was excellent to deal with right from the time I contacted him to discuss the work required. Having listened to my requirements he explained fully the best way to tackle the work and provided a fair price for the job. He was both professional and exact when carrying out the work and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. In fact I have already asked him to quote for installing a new suite in our downstairs toilet.

Gas condensing boiler serviced.

Rerouted central heating pipework in airing cupboard to bypass blocked cold feed

This was a very difficult job in a very confined space with tank and existing pipework in the way. Ed persevered, removed and raised the pump and installed replacement pipework in a more accessible position for dismantling should the problem re-occur. Very pleased with the solution to the problem.

Moving outside tap and fixing leak in toilet

Ed is very friendly, works continuously and fast, tidies up after himself and did an excellent job. Will definately recommend him to all my friends - excellent plumbers are hard to come by and Ed is extremely reliable.
