Complete kitchen refit and paint flat.
Nitros Ltd confirmed they had fitted several IKEA kitchens. Wooden work-tops fitted. Joints on corners cut too wide and filled with laminate sealant. Sealant cracked and could see through gap. Consulted IKEA. Not correctly fitted. Nitros stated “your kitchen is now 2 weeks old!!!” Funds withheld for new worktops and refit. Nitros wanted opportunity to resolve French polisher sent and again cracked. Insurance number given. Insurance didn’t pay as said not covered due to bad workmanship. Nitros painted flat. I spent a weekend scraping paint off floor and antique cooker fitted incorrectly. I spent time researching to prove they had fitted without sufficient air circulation. Which has meant a huge gap between cooker and drawer. Request was to water pipes. When kitchen flooded due to small a waste pipe this obviously hadn’t been done. Damaged kickboards fitted and when questioned told “you want the job finishing”

The customer claims that damage to her flat. The job started ok and it was smooth until we pointed to the customer that the wooden worktops start to curve and the worktops start showing that they have not being dried properly, we left them 7 days to accommodate with the environment before fitting it. The customer believes it is my fault and I should pay for new worktop fit it free. She has asked me for liability insurance but I have told them that I cannot accept liability. The customer supplied the worktop varnished I said I will not varnish due to defects on the structure of wood. That is why I think her comments are unfair.
