I am so pleased with the work and service that has been carried out. When Neal came to give a quote he asked lots of questions showing a real interest in the work I wanted done and to ensure he understood what I wanted and he came up with creative ideas about where to position the radiators especially in a tiny bathroom space. It looks better than I could have imagined! When the guys came to carry out the work they were friendly, polite, checking with me about the position of the boiler and radiators as the job progressed to ensure I was happy at every step. They worked extremely hard to get the job done in two days as that was the only time I could have off from work. Neal even called me the first evening to ensure I was happy with work so far. Although I made several requests about changes to the position of some radiators they gave helpful advice. I have wooden floorboards in the house and I asked the guys to be careful when lifting them so they wouldn't be damaged. The guys squeezed into the smallest gaps in the cellar in order to ensure they only lifted the floorboards that were absolutely necessary and they were so careful. Overall, I am so impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the team, I thought the standard of work and customer service was exceptional. Excellent customer service! Many thanks.

Workers turned up at expected time, checked the job over and started work. Everything was done as requested, and the place was left clean when finished. Part of the job was awkward to do (removal of old flue and making good on the wall above a sloping lean-to roof), but proved to be no problem. Some pipework had to be extended and changed round, the joints were made below the floor giving a tidy finish to the job. The quote wasn't the cheapest, but it wasn't the dearest, and I felt it to be a reasonable charge. The boiler comes with a long warranty, is a quality boiler and I am very pleased overall.

We moved house on the 26/2/13 and we couldn't get the boiler to ignite so we were without heat for two days. I picked a random name from a list, NJ Lees Heating and plumbing. I couldn't have chosen better. They sent someone called Jack, out very quickly and he soon had the boiler running again for us. He was efficient, capable and a really nice guy. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone in need of reliable high class heating and plumbing services.

Extremely impressed with the service and the new boiler that has been installed. Chose to go with NJ Lees Plumbing and Heating as they are Worcester accredited and the quote was the lowest I had. Mark and Olly arrived on time and were very tidy and took me through everything on the new boiler. A leak was found when I was being taken through the controls which was fixed immediately. We choose NJ Lees Plumbing and Heating as the quote was sensible for the work and working in a related industry. I found Neal to be confident and well-informed. Worcester Bosch add to this by backing up the work with a seven year (standard is five year) guarantee on the boiler. The boiler was fitted with a minimum of disruption and the team were extremely polite and helpful. They have also returned on a couple of occasions to check everything is working to expectations and Neal always responds quickly to any e-mail queries. My only minor criticism is that the new boiler doesn't seem to perform as well as the old boiler as the radiators take much longer to get up to temperature. The price of the boiler being more 'efficient' and living in a poorly insulated house.

I was impressed from start to finish with N J Lees Plumbing and Heating. Neal came round and looked at what we needed he then emailed the quote the next day as he advised he would. The quote was really reasonable. I was able to call to ask questions if needed. On the day of installation Neal and his guys turned up promptly he checked there weren't any questions before they started. I cant fault the work carried. Once the install was complete they ran through all I needed to know and what would happen next (registering the new boiler). I would highly recommend this company and am really satisfied. When I phoned I was given an appointment for two days later which I was extremely pleased about. They arrived exactly on time. The man was very friendly and very professional. The price was exactly what was stated. He was very knowledgeable and didn't mind me asking questions as I had never had a gas cooker before. I will definately recommend them. Friday 15 June called NJLees and a young man came at 1pm next day . He quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part using his iPhones and the part was dispatched to Worthing depot on Monday and fitted to my boiler on Tuesday 19 June at 7.45am. An excellent job carried out courteously cleanly and to a high standard. I had visitors from America who hadn't had hot water since Friday 15 June and we were most grateful. As yet I have not seen the bill but assume with Checkatrade they are honest.

The existing system was a Potterton Combi feeding a Gledhill Systemate the boiler had illegal vent and the systemate was expensive to run and used an lot of useful cupboard space. Neil arrived promptly to my request for a quote, analysed the problem and came up with a number of innovative solutions.He suggested relocating a new combi to the roof space and removing the Systemate and old boiler. Result more space in house better more economical and efficien system. Neils installation team were knowedgible, courteous and cheerful they did an excellent job of of the installation which was completed within two weeks of acceptance of his quotation. Called to update me on the progress of work which was welcome. Had no problems with the boiler since installation. High quality of workmanship. Replaced brickwork when most contractors would have simply used a filler in the gap surrounding the outlet vent. Highly recommended.

Really pleased! Our boiler was leaking all over over kitchen floor and he turned up very quickly! He removed the back panel from one of our very new kitchen units with no damage and located and fixed the problem very quickly and efficiently. Firstly, like to say I have never recommended anyone before but this company did such a good job I feel it is only right I let others know and they get the reward for such great service. The company were very polite on the first visit, no pressure sales, I just explained what was needing done and he made a few recommendations gave an excellent quote compared to others. Once agreed he organised the job I didn't have to do anything. The guys that did the installation made a couple further recommendations on the day that turned out to be even better. Everything was up and running in no time and they tidied up the job perfectly. Where I was really impressed was 9 months later there was a problem (hot water was not staying hot). I called NJ Lees on the Saturday evening to explain the issue, I said it wasn't urgent but if they could take a look. Monday morning he was round and explained it was a job for Bosch so he arranged them to come out that same day and fix it for free which is exactly what happened no problems. I then received a follow up called from NJ Lees to double check everything was all OK (the issue was just that some water had been getting down the flue from some plants I had overgrowing near it). I have now just received my letter to remind me to get the boiler serviced so my warranty remains valid. Very impressed, would highly recommend to anyone.

Neal and his great team did an excellent job installing a new boiler and radiators, and I’m really pleased with everything. I needed to replace an old back boiler and Neal recommended fitting the replacement in the loft. I thought there would be a lot of disruption, but the whole job was done in just a few days with none of the mess I was expecting. Neal’s team were really patient and considerate with all my questions, and went the extra mile to make sure things were right. Neal inspires confidence with his knowledge and experience, and goes about things very professionally. Good value for money too. I would recommend and use again.

Brilliant! They turned up early and worked hard all day. Tidy, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. It was a messy job as the floors had concrete screed which had to be channelled out to bury the new pipes. They kept the mess to a minimum! The plumbers knew we wanted things to be 'just so' and they deferred to us several times during the day to make sure we were happy with the way things were progressing. We were very pleased with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Good price quoted and 2 day lead time was appreciated as I had no hot water due to previously condemned boiler. Was able to leave Neal and Co to carry out replacement while I went to work. Came home to a newly fitted boiler and zero rubbish and zero to worry about. Neal came back in the evening to explain how the thermostat worked which was also appreciated. All in all, great service, would recommend and use again.

The man was very friendly and told me the shower just needed a new head for an electric shower rather than the one it had, The water coming out was not hot enough. I had previously been told by other people that I needed a whole new system. This was not the case and now the shower is working fine. He did not charge me for this visit - very kind.

We would highly recommend the team at NJ Lees Plumbing and Heating. All the work undertaken was done within the time scale originally given and the work is of a very high standard. We had a new boiler which was also relocated to the loft from the ground floor and although there was obvious disruption, you would never know they had been. The guys were very respectful and accommodating. All the guys we saw were very knowledgeable and never assumed anything, they always asked the right questions, which worked well as we are quite fussy!!!!

Having not seen my boiler but hearing my distress at having no heating in such cold weather, he kindly offered to talk me through the steps needed to reset it over the telephone. There was no benefit to him, He was patient, knowledgeable and reassuring and to put my mind at rest, called around first thing the next morning to check that all was well. Arrived exactly on time. Neal introduced his team and they promptly got down to work. He stated that it would take two days for everything to be carried out and the system to be up and running again and that we would be without hot water overnight. In the event the boiler was up and running on day 1 with plenty of hot water and heating. The job was fully completed by lunchtime on day 2 - everything made good and cleaned up. I can highly recommend these guys and will use them again if the need arises.

Our combi boiler finally gave up the ghost after Neal has repaired it several times, we had known it would not be long before we had to spend out on a new one. Neal was fantastic, he came out on the Friday night to see if he could get it going and with no avail he had a new one delivered to us on Saturday and sent on of his team out to us by 8am Sunday morning as we had a small child in the house, his team were just as helpful as him and left us with heating, hot water and confirmation that there are still decent tradesmen in the world - could not recommend highly enough!

We feel disappointed with the cavalier service received from this trader. We felt that the final insult was upon delivery of the final payment by hand, the trader did not acknowledge or give a receipt. We felt that this was bad mannered and discourteous. We would definitely not recommend them.

In response to the customer’s comments above, I feel unhappy that they were not satisfied with the service provided. We were employed to fit a brand new central heating system at their property and felt that this work was carried out to our usual high standards. There was a fault found on the new boiler which I feel we were not responsible for, and this was confirmed by the boiler manufacturer when they attended the next morning. If we had tried to repair the fault, it would have invalidated the 5 year warranty from the manufacturer. There was also a fault found on the gas meter which we had to call out the gas company to deal with, and this only became apparent when the boiler was working. After the occurrence of two faults, and after much soul searching I still cannot see what we could have done differently as both where beyond my control. The customer has mentioned that I did not acknowledge receipt of payment for the work. Again, I feel that this comment is a little unfair, I am a very busy engineer, and in all the time that I have owned my own business I have never had a complaint that I did not acknowledge receipt of payment. The customer has implied above that they personally handed me the cheque and I ignored them, in fact, they posted the cheque through my letter box . If and when customers personally hand me their payment, I always say thank-you. Unfortunately I feel that it would be too costly for me to send out thank you letters for every payment received. However, if a customer pays via BACS, I do send a quick email to say that it has been received as a matter of courtesy. I have many satisfied customers and this is reflected in the amount of positive recommendations received before this job and after.

The new boiler was duly installed and we were very impressed with the whole service. After contacting the Gas Register on Sunday and asking for 3 quotes Neal phoned me about 8am and was at my house about 9:30am. He took the details and a quote was with me on Monday afternoon.  The replacing my leaking floor standing boiler for a wall mounted one was started on time at 8am Thursday, and completed the same day! I was amazed how efficient everything worked out from Neal to his two installers Jeff and Mark.  For two mid seventies pensioner to have this service in the middle of winter was absolutely brilliant.

Work was completed in just over a day but a temporary fix allowed the boiler to provide heating and hot water in the evening and overnight. Called many people but this company phoned very quickly.  Were very friendly and polite. Could come and see me within 2 hours.  Fortunately my friend found the problem so when I called to say no need to come he was really glad that I had solved the problem. As the work was done in a flat we own but have not been into for a while it is impossible to give all scores, but I can say that Neal is obviously passionate about his work and he helped us solve a large plumbing problem without us having to even visit the flat. He is reliable, personable and even quite funny!

Visited within an hour to diagnose the problem. Returned the following morning (Saturday) after sourcing the parts. I would highly recommend him to others.
