Complete refurb including: installation of windows, plastering, kitchen fit, brickwork, and building furniture. Work completed to a high standard and clean up after themselves. I would happily recommend them.

Building
We have used them for two large jobs and for many small jobs in between, and have always found them to price fairly, be polite, friendly, clean, complete work to a high standard, communicate well, carry out required work but provide valuable input too. They have gone that extra mile to ensure we are happy with the work. Honest and reliable. I would be happy to recommend them.

Conversion of a dressing area to an en-suite bathroom

They carried out the work reliably, to an excellent standard, and with minimum disruption. I would certainly use them again.

Restoring kitchen and underground floor areas following major pipe leaks

General work.

We were extremely pleader with NJH Carpentry and Building. In particular we were impressed with the ability of Nick Harfield to solve the problems he encountered in a creative and constructive way. I would recommend this company.

Rear and side single extension

Good workmanship, willingness to please the customer, offered solutions to problems, friendly team - willing to go the extra mile, job finished in a timely manner , always someone on site (daily), sometimes as many as six or seven. Good man management of work force and delivery of materials. Kitchen has also been installed , good price and finished to required standard. Good management of other trades used - seem to be available very quickly.

New garage

We recently had our old dilapidated garage demolished and a new, bigger two storey garage built in its place. As with our loft conversion, Nick and his team worked impressively throughout. Once again Nick stuck to his original quote and took time to understand exactly what we wanted. He is a highly professional project manager and has a reliable, skilled and friendly team. Our finished Garage/garden room is wonderful! I cannot recommend Nick enough. We will definitely be using him again.

Dorma added to loft

Good workmanship - looks good from the outside . Route to loft was covered by builder in order to reduce damage. External roof was swept prior to finishing the job and drains cleared. Willingness to keep the customer happy by engaging with them on a daily basis in an articulate manner.

Loft conversion

I am more than happy with Nick and his team. This is the first major work that we have had done and I was quite nervous about it all. He was recommended to us and I would definately recommend him too. His quote was competitive and had no hidden extras. The team were polite and friendly and worked in a professional manner. My finished loft room is absolutely fabulous. Nick took time to understand what we wanted and delivered. He is currently midway through building us a two storey garage and re-rendering the back of our house. Through all of this, Nick and his team have given us back belief and confidence in an industry that frequently gets a bad press.

Kitchen - knocked dining room and kitchen together and complete refit

Nick Is a joy to work with, everyday everything was left neat and tidy and even during our kitchen and dining room knock through at no time were we without our cooker or sink!
