The work was carried out extremely professionally, with every effort made to minimise disruption to my daily routine. Oscar arrived promptly each day and worked effectively and efficiently dispite interruptions from my dogs. As a recently widowed woman I was confident having Oscar in the house and to leave him working if I needed to go out. I highly recommend Oscar's work and his friendly and pleasant manner.

Oscar painted and wall papered our large spare bedroom and papered our main bedroom. He did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, got the job done with zero fuss and then billed us exactly what he had quoted for the work. The standard of his work is very high and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him - in fact he's coming back to work on the exterior of our house in the spring.

We are so pleased with the work Oscar has done for us and we could never have done it so well ourselves. His time keeping is second to none and he's very hard working, barely stopping for a break. He's so quiet you wouldn't know he was there. Extremely polite and friendly and nothing ever too much trouble. He offered us some good suggestions when decorating our bedroom and saved us a fortune. It looks lovely. When he finished the first big job he even came back at 7 at night as he forgot to fix the bathroom door back on. So kind of him to take time out of his evening to do this. Oscar is also a very tidy worker and when moving furniture back, he even added nice touches by putting picture frames in their right places. I highly recommend him.

Oscar did a brilliant job for us before Christmas and we asked him to return to paint our hall and landing (including 17 doors!). As a family we really enjoy having Oscar working in the house. He arrives promptly, never stops for teas or coffee and is meticulously tidy - it spurs us on to try and be the same! Oscar will help when you can no longer identify one beige test patch from another but will pass no judgement if you have made your decision. He should not have to but he will take the pictures off the wall and then replace them afterwards if you have not had time. We are totally confident in leaving Oscar in the house, knowing when we return we will be delighted with what he has achieved. Our hall looks great, the woodwork is amazingly glossy and white and we are very happy. Thanks Oscar

I was very happy with the work Oscar did and would be pleased to recommend him. The quote was clear and quite reasonable and I was kept informed of the exact start date. Oscar worked quickly and efficiently and was always punctual, friendly and undemanding. His advice was helpful. I particularly appreciated his flexibility and unflappable approach, eg. Getting more paint if I hadn't managed to, repainting one room and some of the paintwork when I changed my mind about colours, working around other contractors, and adding on more work than I'd originally asked for. Oscar is not just a very good painter and decorator but is also completely non-invasive, in other words, he never asks for anything, no endless cups of tea, cake and sandwiches which so many trades seem to expect. I'm really happy with Oscar's work, price and attitude -- he's done an excellent job of work on my living room, finished on time and has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish (unlike some others from whom I sought quotes). He starts work early, and stays late when necessary to finish a stage. Didn't even make himself a cup of tea! I am very disappointed with this customers feedback, as on this occasion the customer was paying me on a daily rate, I worked till 8pm in order to finish the job and not return the following day, which would have cost the customer more.
