We decided not to have a showroom and its costly overheads, and as we deal direct with our long established kitchen and appliance suppliers, we can design, supply and install a stunning kitchen (inc work tops & appliances) for typically less than other established retailers (in a like-for-like supply & installation price comparison).  We bring door samples out with us and we can also arrange for you to visit a couple of our recently installed kitchens to show you the quality of the kitchen as well as the workmanship. 

Our high-quality kitchens are available in a wide range of styles. Our rigid built cabinets (not flat packed) are colour coordinated to stylishly match the kitchen doors (not just standard white), they also come with soft closure fittings and are only drilled to specification (without multiple drill holes inside).  It’s these little things that we think make a big difference.

We cannot thank Brett and the team enough for all the planning, hard work and attention to detail that has totally transformed a rather dated kitchen/utility into a modern, well designed and stylish area that is a pleasure to cook in. Brett spent time listening to our requirements and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had the 'Wow factor' that he promised us. The lack of a showroom was no problem as we were shown reference sites and product samples to choose from. The job also included new ceilings and flooring, replastering, electrics, all done to the same high standard. The whole team displays a standard of customer service which surpassed our expectations, courteous, friendly and professional in all they do. In conclusion we cannot praise Brett, Dawn and everyone at Oakleigh Kitchens highly enough and have already recommended them to friends (one already booked in with Brett for 2012), A job well done!!

Complete installation and redecoration of kitchen and dining area.

The work was carried out to a very high standard - Brett is unique in that he prides himself on ensuring not only the quality but also the design, materials and final decoration are all as near perfect as possible. Brett is also very willing and helpful if called back for any questions or adjustments needed. Dawn is also brilliant in providing the office back up. Would definitely recommend Oakleigh Kitchens to anyone looking for similar installations.

New kitchen design with additional French doors to garden

We are so pleased with our new kitchen that Brett designed and fitted along with his team. He listened carefully to what we wanted and then came up with an original design that works really well. Nothing is too much trouble and Brett and his team work with a great deal of pride in what they do, which means every little detail is taken care of. They offer a very personal professional service with a very good price to go with it.

Brett and Dawn were extremely helpful and kept us fully informed of delivery dates, times of arrival etc. All work was carried out with a minimum of disruption to ourselves. Great attention was paid to the details that we requested and every effort was made to see that we were satisfied at every stage of the work. All this resulted in a kitchen and utility room that we are very pleased with.

Complete Kitchen refit

ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED. From the initial consultation with Brett his passion and flair and the pride in what he does was evident and I thank him for his endless patience in ensuring that I was totally satisfied with the final design and choice of units. Nothing was too much trouble for Brett and he included so many little extras which gave the kitchen that extra special WOW factor. I had been looking to replace my kitchen for some while now and was so disappointed with the designs put forward previously by other companies, which were totally unworkable and did not incorporate the vision I had in mind. Brett was very mindful of the budget I had set and his quotation had no hidden extras, unlike a well known up-market DIY company who, even with the lure of a fifty per cent discount, could not compete with the final costing, having failed to allow for such important items as removal of tiling, full electrical checks, painting works to name but a few. The excellent price from Oakleigh Kitchens meant that I could afford to replace all the electrical appliances. In this respect, Dawn was able to source these items from their supplier at exceptional prices. At the end of the day I have a top of the range painted wooden kitchen which is absolutely stunning. Brett kept me up to date with progress every step of the way and the work carried out by his team was executed to a very high standard, with the attention to detail faultless. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Oakleigh Kitchens and would welcome visits from prospective customers so that they can see for themselves the standard of workmanship and design features.

We cannot speak highly enough of the work undertaken by Brett and his team of dedicated professionals. We have an old period building which we have been renovating over the past 5 years, so we have had experience of many companies during that time and without question, Oakleigh ranks as the number 1 contractor. From the initial consultation with Brett, we knew we were dealing with a company that had a passion and excitement for our project that was way beyond that showed by other well known local and national businesses. His enthusiasm carried thru to several stages of design at no stage was anything to much trouble and he showed us a vision of what out kitchen has now become by carefully explaining each step, often thinking outside the box, which is what we needed as we have not done a kitchen for a long time. Brett made sure we not only had a great looking kitchen but a kitchen that actually works and utilises every bit of useable space. The enthusiasm and passion didn’t stop when they received the order, as we have experienced before with other companies, but carried on right thru the job. Oakleigh provided not just a kitchen installation but a true end to end project delivery service, including building works, plastering, electrics, tiling, plumbing thru to painting and decorating. This meant we did not have to project manage the various elements ourselves, it was one contact for all elements and any issues (mostly caused by us) were sorted quickly, efficiently and with zero fuss, significantly reducing the stress that a project like this presents. I think one of the most impressive things we experienced was that every member of the team seemed to treat the project as if they were doing the job in their own home and the quality of finish stands as testimony to that. Their attention to detail and the desire to get it right was well beyond our expectations.

Brett, Dawn and team have been great through the whole process. The design of the kitchen went beyond other designs we received at a much more favourable cost (not just a replacement of old for new). We also had replacement flooring and skirting boards through the ground floor. We are 110% satisfied with the total service and fitting which has been beyond our expectations. Brett kept us totally informed of progress and next stages. Overall we are really satisfied with the end design and product which has been beautifully fitted.

The work was executed to a high standard. I liked the fact that Brett came to the house to give a quote and also offered suggestions for improvements I would not have thought of. His quote for the work to be done, including materials and cupboards, was totally geared to what I wanted to spend, even slightly under. The end result is a lovely kitchen where I enjoy spending time in. It certainly wows my visitors!

Complete kitchen re-fit including appliances

Made various enquiries with local firms. We wanted a complete kitchen rip-out and start-again service. Brett offered lots of advice regarding design, layout and appliances (we ended up with Neff, Smeg and Hotpoint). Whilst not the absolute cheapest Oakleigh seemed to offer the best value for money. Being able to see reference sites in advance gave us confidence in the quality of the product and the installation. Things did not go to plan. When the kitchen was ripped-out the shoddy workmanship of the previous owners was apparent and Oakleigh had to right some significant wrongs. Brett discussed all possible solutions with us and delivered on them whilst keeping an eye on our budget (much appreciated!!). Final result is a functional kitchen that is of showroom standard.  No hesitation in recommending Oakleigh Kitchens and our thanks to Brett, Lee, Dawn and all the team.
