Phil turned up on time and promised an immediate quote. He matched a quote we had previously been given. Agreed a date for fitting very soon after. He was delayed by a serious accident the day he was due to screed the floor, he kept us updated and ensured the work was completed in readiness for fitting the following day. The fitting was completed meticulously and both he and Ben tidied up leaving a beautiful floor or us to admire. I know they have undertaken work for a number of my neighbours where were delighted with their work and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Phil was very helpful in understanding my not-very-well-thought-out needs for carpet on stairs and in bedroom. He left me with plenty of samples to play with and did not push the most expensive ranges on me, which I appreciated. On the day, the work was carried out efficiently and professionally, and I am very happy with the result. I discovered a small flaw in one part of the carpet, which Phil was happy to investigate, and as it turned out was a very minor problem which he was able to rectify really quickly. I will definitely use his services again in the future.

Phil has a great choice of carpets which he brings to your home so you can really see if it goes with your decor. If you're looking for quality carpets in more interesting colours than insipid beige this is the company. Best of all the quote was very price competitive compared to a certain well-known retailer which had a sale on. He provided a fantastic service, the fitting was first class and we love our carpets. We would definately use Phil again and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Phil and his colleague did an exceptional job installing our carpet for our entire top floor. Phil also nailed down loose floor boards and trimmed down the doors as part of the carpet quote. Other companies charged additional fees for this work. Phil was polite and courteous and did a really good, professional job. I have used Phil on several occasions and am about to buy my 5th carpet from him. He has a good selection which he brings to your home and allows you to keep samples while you make your mind up. He has never made me feel pressured to buy from him and there is no 'hard sell'. He will also give you realistic advice - not just try to sell you the most expensive product. His carpet prices are similar to that of the larger stores but his underlay is cheaper so you can get a better quality. He can usually fit your carpet within a week of you ordering it and he and his team work quick, are tidy and polite. 100% recommended.

The entire job from start to finish was superb. Phil, the owner, brought over a huge selection of carpets in a range of prices and I found one in 100% wool that met my budget. He's very knowledgeable and I had confidence that he would handle my job well, especially as I had a lot of furniture that needed moving. He and his assistant arrived on time, took up the old carpet and laid the new expertly, neatly and moved all the furniture back in place. The rooms look great and I'm thoroughly happy with the results. It was pleasant doing business with Phil as he's a nice person and interested in delivering quality customer service.

All the work was done with minimum disruption and the areas in question were left very tidy. The finished job looks good. Phil ended up having to do the work over 2 days, because when he lifted the old vinyl in the utility area he found the floor to be damp from where water had leaked when we had had our boiler replaced a week before. He pointed this out and said he wanted to ensure that is was totally dried out before putting new vinyl on top so that is didn't rot and bubble the new lino which to us demonstrated a high level of integrity and professionalism. I would definitely use again and cannot recommend highly enough.

Ocean Flooring are a really excellent floor supply and floor installation company for all types of floors and floor surfaces including vinyl, rubber, wood, laminates and specialist stuff like Karndean.
