Lightening struck Scots Pine removal.
This tree was struck by lightening many years ago resulting in an extensive lightening furrow from the top if the tree, spiraling down the stem into the ground. The tree has subsequently decayed around the furrow and was now unsafe to climb. With the added complications of two phone wires and several valuable shrubs, small trees and a large Oak tree beneath, a 34m 112ft Cherry Picker was utilised for this operation.
