We had agreed to have our bathroom fitted whilst away on holiday. Olly agreed a price beforehand and asked our choices on many aspects of the fitting, before work commenced. On our return home we were delighted to find the job finished and everything completed to a high quality. Obviously ripping out an old bathroom and fitting a new one is a messy job, and some cleaning was required, but certainly no more than we expected, as Olly had clearly tried to keep the mess to a minimum.

I am really pleased with the work Oliver has done. He was gave careful consideration to the placement of screws given the presence of pipes and wiring beneath the floor. The squeaking has been remedied. He quickly and efficiently replaced a broken latch on the rear gate and assembled a piece of kit set furniture. All done in a timely manner. I would most certainly use him again and recommend him to anyone else.

Did any excellent job in replacing patio door with new one. The old one was removed with minimum of fuss and damage and the quality was to a very high standard. Would recommend Oliver as a very skilled tradesman. He was also willing to have a look at a leak on the roof as well which was repaired. Great Job!

We heard about Ollie from one of my wife's friends at her work. Ollie was great at coming round and providing us with a quote and then started the 2 day work ASAP despite a busy schedule. My wife gave birth to our first child the day he started work and I was happy to leave him at our house whilst we were at the hospital. When we arrived back home the work he had done was of a very high standard and he had also tidied up brilliantly. I'll definitely get Ollie back if I ever needed a chippy again.

Oliver Gauntlett fitted both a new door frame and a set of doors and sidelights in a broad opening between a conservatory and the living room. Oliver listened very carefully and was very good at discussing with me the various options at the time of the quote. He communicated well prior to doing the work to give the quote and let me know when the work would start. During the work he and his father, Bob were considerate and careful around the house and the children, The finished job was well done, very neat and just what was required. We are extremely pleased with Mr Gauntlett's work for our company. Timing was very important on this job. The work he did to a very scruffy airing cupboard on a landing has transformed it - it is now a pleasure to see it. New doors were put in and look excellent. We needed a sliding door added to the area which we expected would probably detract from the new look of the area, but the door he made matched everything else and looked very classy. He gave the stationery cupboard a complete makeover and made pigeonholes for the staff mail. All in all an excellent job and we will definitely use this company again.

Oliver's communication was excellent; he followed up on his quote and kept in touch re: start date, arrival time etc. The work is of a high standard. This was a strange task as it involved pulling down half a wall, stairwell headroom and then rebuilding to give as much space as possible in 3rd bedroom, brief was fully understood and done to a high standard with professionalism and pride. *****Stop Press **** Oliver delivered a first class service from start to finish. The stair case and floor boards were creaking like mad, Oliver had to remove brickwork in the garage to gain access to the underside of the stairs, not an easy job, however the results were truly amazing, the staircase and floorboards are totally quiet better than when they were first built. The brick was put back and re-cemented as well as the carpets all in perfect condition, no mess at all and on budget. Oliver is a highly effective carpenter setting and achieving impressive standards of customer satisfaction, I would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants a first class quality service at a reasonable price.

Very nice and professional approach to the work carried out. I just feel that as the job had been priced for two days work and this is what was expected to complete the required work. That it was rushed to be completed in one day and unfortunately feels like it has shown in the finish. I was told that repair work would be carried out where the top newel post was taken out, leaving a hole in the plaster of the dining room ceiling. This was not completed and I have had to repair myself. The cleaning up at the end appeared rushed and there were alot of area's missed. Again I understand that I myself am in the middle of decorating but the mess created I feel was not cleaned to a decent standard and the only interest was getting home. I understand that this was not an easy job to complete but feel that I am a little unsatisfied with the completed finish. On saying this it would not stop me putting their name forward to other people.
