I take responsibility for this and I apologise for the inconvenience caused. I felt very bad about what happened and felt I had let people down. I strive for perfect work but did not achieve it. The customer rang me at 9pm on the Sunday night of their return and I was at the premises within 30 minutes. I rectified the problem and discussed with them what they thought I needed to do to make it right even though there was no damage. It was an unfortunate set of circumstances coming together. My attitude was always 'what do I need to do to make this right for the customer.
