About PJK Carpentry & Building.
P.J.K Carpentry & Building has been established now for over seven years. The company started shortly after Paul began work as a carpenters mate. His knowledge and experience is gained from carrying out property refurbishment over many year's prior. First hand, on site practical work has given Paul a huge array of talents. Some of which involve some rather nice pieces of reclaimed oak. Paul developed a natural affinity with wood, in particular a passion for oak.
Whether it be intricate scribed fillets or several tons of reclaimed beams. A natural eye for selecting appropriate timber became second nature and the honing of already established skills continued. Paul developed his talent for carpentry and established the business he is now the proud owner of. His customer relations are a top priority and always have been. This has led to PJK Carpentry & Building working across the south of England. The main area of work is within Sussex, but work has been carried out by us in Hampshire, Berkshire, Central London and Kent.
Our range of work stretches from Bespoke oak furniture right through to massive refurbishment projects in the middle of London.

Replace waney edge cladding on 1930s house
Excellent workmanship on unusual job with very difficult access. Nothing was too much trouble for Paul who finished the job off to a very high standard. All other workmen on site have commented on what a fantastic job he has done. Highly recommended

Wooden gates made to measure and fitted to decking. Inside door converted to stable door and re-hung.
Two sets of stair gates made to measure and fitted to decking in back garden. An inside door that had been removed was also converted to a stable door and was re-hung. The wood was chosen to match the colour of the decking, they look great and work perfectly.
The estimate for the timing and the cost of the work were both spot on and he's done a very nice job.
I'd thoroughly recommend Paul and will happily use his services again in the future.
