Patio and pathways.

Pete has produced a quality piece of work that is drawing admirable comments from those that have seen it. Genuine 'wow factor'. He also kept bang on budget, despite a stone supply issue meaning a more expensive option was used. Happy to recommend P R Landscapes.

Garden and Garage

We are extremely disappointed with how this project has been managed from start to finish. We appointed the trader in July 2012 and he has still not completed all the agreed building work and instead has taken on other jobs. I feel our mistake has been to pay him regularly, trusting what he had told us that work would be completed. We are now having to seek legal action.

After acceptance of the quote work began on this project. A numerous amount of extra work was added on by the clients for which payment was not received. This resulted in their initial payments being used to cover this. Other work was then started elsewhere to compensate for this loss of money. Payment is still outstanding for the works to be completed.

Pergola or wooden side gate.

Just what you want from a tradesman. He was prompt, friendly trustworthy, "did what he said he would". A skilled craftsman who obviously takes pride in his work, he made sure that we were always consulted over the decisions required along the way. The end result was a stunning pergola and a handcrafted gate for a very reasonable price!! At last we have found a landscape gardener that we wouldn't hesitate to use again and again!!

Complete garden makeover

We had a new build house with a typical small, odd-shaped garden just layed to lawn. The garden did, however, have some real potential. We had 3 companies come in to discuss ideas and give us a quote and I knew immediately that Pete Richardson was someone I could work with. He had just the right balance of having some good ideas yet happy to listen and take on board our own thoughts. We appointed PR Landscapes without a second thought and can only say that we have had an outstanding job done all but on time and on budget. Pete had to work through the wettest spring on record and even carried on by erecting tarpaulins to keep some work areas dry. It has been a pleasure to work with Pete and the quality of his work has been superb. Everyone who walks into our garden says just one word .... "wow!" I would not hesitate to recommend PR Lanscapes and have gladly offered to be a future reference for his work

Laying new patio, constructing decking, correcting existing garden tiers and a retaining garden wall.

Pete was very helpful and constructive in how to proceed from a reasonably vague brief to providing a cost effective and practical solution for a steep, tiered garden which had been neglected for some time. He worked with my husband and I to design and deliver a really nice patio and decking area, consulting with us regularly to discuss any new ideas/suggestions. Any updates to budget required were discussed and agreed prior to implementation. Pete and his co-worker, Mikey, were always extremely helpful and courteous and a pleasure to have working around the garden. I have already recommended PR Landscapes to other friends and have discussed opportunities for further work with them.

Old patio replaced with sandstone slabs and section of garden fitted with planter boxes and turfed lawn.

We are delighted with the work done by Pete in our garden , he was able to help us with ideas and nothing was too much trouble when we added on extra things for him to do. We would highly recommend him.

Major fencing works to include three gates

We have recently had a large boundary needing to be secure with difficult neighbours to contend with and Peter managed to not only work with our remit but also placate and stay personable with our neighbours! He has an extensive knowledge and experience when tasked with erecting a fence around the boundary which also included 3 gates. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter, you won't be disappointed, his work ethic is second to none and we are delighted with the finished product.

Carpentry work to create a bespoke pergola and gazebo

I was very pleased with the bespoke pergola and gazebo created by Peter and his team. Peter went out of his way to get the work done on a timely basis. The quality of his work was to a high standard and he was able to provide useful ideas and solutions when issues arose. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Peter.

Clearing a plot of land of a large tree and root and several bushes, levelling the ground and erecting fencing around the plot.
