I had had many discussion with Paul prior to starting the work as we wanted a shower installed and we didn't have one at present and we realised that with our conventional boiler this may be an issue. Paul was very knowledgable and set about telling us about a shower pump and how it would work (as we were concerned about poor water pressure). I exchanged many email with Paul over the type of shower/what sort of rad we woudl have etc and nothing was too much trouble. The bathroom took about 8 days to gut and refit and we now have a lovely new modern bathroom. Paul and his son did a tremendous job and the workmanship is excellent. We are over the moon with our new bathroom. Paul even came back a couple of weeks after to adjust a couple of minor things which needed changing.

I would thoroughly recommend Paul Crosby and his son Paul. In the past, on other projects in other places I have found tilers can give you problems. There was none of this with Mr Crosby and his son, just superb workmanship, done on time and with courtesy.

I can't thank Paul enough for how he has transformed our bathroom. At our initial meeting he had great ideas as to how to maximise the (limited) space available and offered several alternatives depending on our budget. He was very helpful in recommending suppliers and fittings and cleaned up after himself daily and even took all the rubbish away too. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and hope to use him again in the future.

Very awkwardly shaped hallway was beautifully tiled (25 sq. Mtrs). High gloss polished porcelain is mirror smooth. Everything done on time and to quoted price. I'd use Paul again.

From start to finish Paul and his son Paul were fantastic. Paul came and helped me plan the bathroom and always had great ideas and options that we hadn't thought of. Paul did an excellent job on our new bathroom. He was efficient, polite, tidy and courteous. Despite us messing him around a little (due to the supplies being delayed from the supplier) Paul worked around this to get everything done as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are thrilled with the high quality of the result. We felt completely comfortable leaving him (and his son, who works with him sometimes) in our home to get on with the work. We had two rooms that had different levels of flooring and different materials, and some concrete that was very uneven. Protile Ceramics did an amazing job and never grumbled at having to pad or chisel the floor. The slate tiles look amazing. Thank you

Paul Crosby Snr did majority of my work - very professional, excellent tradesman, polite and friendly, great time keeping, very tidy, trustworthy, exceeded my expectations by helping out with jobs outside of his remit - mended front door catch and toilet overflow (before he commenced bathroom refit). Paul Jnr demonstrated the same characteristics as his father and is an excellent tiler. I definately highly recommend both Paul Snr and Jnr!

Paul's quality of work is excellent. We have gone from a dreary bathroom with lots of pine and artexed walls to a bathroom fit for a high end hotel. Paul recommended spending a bit more on the shower, toilet and sink, and so rather than go for a B&Q, I bought from the Bath Store. The tiles were B&Q but Paul had no problem with them. I was happy to let Paul have a key to my house and work when I was out. Paul was keen to keep me updated with the job as it progressed, making sure I was happy with each stage. He also fitted an outside tap, and was happy to put up my extras, such as a cabinet, loo roll holder etc. Over all I would happily recommend Paul to anyone. The only shame is Paul wouldn't do my kitchen as well, as he specialises with bathrooms and tiling!

We found a stain in our kitchen ceiling and suspected it was from the cracked shower tray. We also found a nightmare plumbing job under the sink that needed fixing. Paul fixed both very quickly and we have the peace of mind of knowing his work is quality. We also know that whatever other problems we find with previous peoples work, he can be relied on to provide quality solutions at a fair price.

Paul and his son were consummate professionals to the last. The wet room that they produced was flawless in every detail, due in no small part to their extreme diligence. Quite simply, nothing was too much trouble; Paul was always on-hand to give advice both prior to and during the work itself. If I had a query or suggestion, Paul would respond promptly and the job was left immaculately clean at the end of each working day. The final product was finished to a standard I had thought unimaginable. The project fell within budget and the original price quoted. In addition to these exacting standards, Paul is a genuinely nice person. His work is of the highest caliber. I was delighted with the result and couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Paul provided the most accurate quote re Sq Meter to be tiled, and est. wastage. Although really busy work over a bank holiday WE to get the job done. But most importantly did a great job with his son Paul, both great tillers. Therefore good value for money as we are very happy with the end result. I thought that I would need to have the tiles lifted and replaced as I had a leak. Paul came out the same day, inspected the area and told me that there was no damage done and that the area below the tiles would dry out soon and so no work was needed. Really great to have another honest and pleasant person from Checkatrade. He could so easily have told me I needed to have work done and I would have been none the wiser. Thank you. I know who I'll be getting to do my tiling in future!

We found Mr Crosby and Son very helpful in choosing the correct materials and tiles. They were very honest in their estimate and very polite at all times, at the end of the day. They cleaned and tidied up all their mess. I would recommend them.
