Response from Paul Sims Painter and Decorator:
When looking at this job a lot of paint was peeling off of a few window sills, so i used a heat gun to take it all back to bare wood and found that the sills were wrotten. This lead to alot more work than was first arranged. There were windows missed when being shown the job as well, which i also took care of with no complaints. I also had to undertake carpentry work which was supposed to be taken care off by the owner and wasnt. I also had to gain entrance to some windows from a neighbours garden which i also had to organise my self. Before appling the final coat of paint i walked around with the owner to make sure they were happy with everything in which they pointed out three small areas to be filled which i did before applying the final coat. So i dont know how they can mark me down on workmanship. I also had dust sheets down all the time and still swept up every evening before leaving the job so again i feel this is undeserved. I also said before i left that if there was anything wrong or any problems to get in touch and i would be happy to and amend any problems.

The work included a 15 ft drop in the stairwell which was done perfectly. Even though I estimated a 2 day job it was done in a single day and that was a Sat. There was a tiny amount of snagging to be done but it was not the fault of the tradesman but he came back on the Mon. And spent about 20 mins putting it right.
