Pavillion Roofing came on the 9th and then the 15th August 2011 to repair my chimney. I contacted this firm as l knew how well they worked for having done some roof repairs some years ago on my roof and then for neighbours down the road. All of us were very satisfied with their estimates and their work so l rang them again. They had to come over two separate days to allow the drying of the pointing and cementing which they did. Fortunately the weather was fine and it all dried very well. Then they came back they put a "Thompson waterseal" to finish and to protect the work for an even longer time. I have to say that they did the work very well including making the chimney aesthetically presentable again (from neighbours and birds' views!) and no messing about with suggesting extras or whatever. On the contrary, because they even cleaned the gutter not only near the chimney but all round the house, saving me getting someone to do it! What was on the estimate is what they did, and of course we had discussed it before. I could not help thinking that some less conscientious firm would have done both jobs at the same time to be "done and gone"! But not this firm which is represented by Mr Mark Burt. The estimate was very reasonable not "outlandish" at all! (one always fears estimates!), that was good. I hope not to need this firm again but if l did l would have no hesitation calling them or re-recommending them. I wish they did indoor work as well! (l did not ask!)
