Hi and welcome to our checkatrade page!

My name is Peter Higgs and I started PGH Pest Control in 2009 with the help of the Princes Trust. Since then I have grown my business to keep up with our high demand and have one full time technician Craig Murton and 3 administrators,( see pictures)

Since then we have well over a thousand customers from homes in cities to standard rural properties to small holdings, some on an ad hock basis call out to our routine pest control agreement (where we make a number of visits per year to prevent and control if needed any issues) which stops those annoying pests establishing! We also protect in a very similar way commercial premises like golf clubs, restaurants, clubs, bars, take away and leisure centers.  

We pride ourself on our work, customer service and keeping up with new changes in the industry by attending regular continued professional development and reading pest mag quarterly ( I just don't tell the girlfriend or I think that would be it with us)

Measures to eradicate mice in loft.

Pete and Craig are very knowledgeable, tidy and efficient in their work. They carried out a number of measures, both inside and out, to eradicate mice in the loft which has been successful. The company that I work for has used him in the past and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Mice removal and proofing of house, wasp nest, carpet moth infestation.

We have used P G H Pest Control& Prevention in the past so went straight back to them. This was quite a demanding job with a considerable amount of work to be done. Very knowledgeable and well-informed about all pests and identified the problems. Although it took a little while to get rid of the mice, came back several times to deal with them until the problem was eradicated. He is a pleasant and very courteous young man and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, particularly as he is mentor by the Princes' Trust.
