Complete install, new suite, flooring, carpentry, tiling etc.

I can't recommend Jon highly enough. He put me completely at ease, is very polite and honest. His quote was excellent and although he encountered many problems he rose to the challenge and provided me with a dream bathroom. Jon had to work an extra day to complete the job but didn't charge me for it which was very kind. There were some rises in cost due to the problems but I was fully aware of the situation all the way through. I am certain you will be happy if you choose Jon. Thank you.

Refit new bathroom suite and tile around the bath and washbasin.

Jon was extremely polite and helpful and was not phased when a few unforeseen problems arose. We would most definitely use this company in the future and would highly recommend them to other customers. Extremely pleased with the end result, our new bathroom is just what we wanted!

Replace whole bathroom.

Just brilliant! A few problems arose which couldn't be anticipated (rotted chipboard flooring under old floor, old loose lime plaster) but nothing phased Jon. He discussed the options with me and worked extra hours to complete the project by the agreed deadline. Was also happy to complete extras that I kept throwing his way (things I hadn't considered). Highly recommend, a good, genuine builder.

Trace and fix leak from shower tray, he also agreed to put screen on bath.

Was told leak could probably be fixed by replacing trap (I wouldn’t do it if I thought it wouldn’t work), and said he would replace over bath shower screen (which we already had). Shower trap took 10 mins approx. To fix, started shower screen and the old profile bar attached to wall was difficult to remove (we had already taken rest of screen away). One of our tiles broke, he said he would have to source another one to match in and we would have to pay for it plus the petrol which we were thought unfair. When using the shower first time, the same leak was still there. On calling him back, he was not prepared to do anything else or return even though I actually did source the leak myself after he went and would really only take some sealer on an exposed pipe. So overall not happy, expensive for time taken, response after work complete and not able to source leak.

I was perfectly punctual, constantly courteous, and my workmanship was entirely professional. I have since asked the customer to find any fault with my work, and she could find none. I provided outstanding value for money. I kept the customer constantly appraised of events and discussed options with them at all times. Part of this job was to fix a leak on a badly installed shower tray. I did this. When they later discovered a completely separate leak over a metre away from the one I had been commissioned to fix, they wanted me to come back and fix that for free. I offered to come along the next day, but said any new work would of course be chargeable. They responded with bad feedback.

Bathroom repairs, installation of new toilet.

I have regularly used Positive Plumbing for four years, in my former home, and now in my new home. Jon is a very hard worker, exceptionally polite and friendly, and gets on with the job, completing it exactly to specification. He shows up when he says he will, and I am comfortable leaving him to get on it. We are shortly to get a new bathroom and I am looking forward to booking Jon to install it for us. We are always delighted with the quality of his work and the fair price he charges us.

Repair of water leak due to faulty cistern from supplier

We had a leak in a cistern due to a faulty valve, which had been pre-fitted by the supplier. Jon came immediately to determine the problem and later to replace the faulty part. As we have always found, Jon was excellent and we can highly recommend him.

Refitting and tiling of downstairs cloakroom

This is the second refit that Jon has done for us. Again, he did a perfect job and he was reliable and meticulous in his work. He will be the first person to ask of we need any further work done. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Replace bathroom suite, retiling.

V. Happy with results. Took a couple of days due to previous instalation done poorly. I.E. Toilet not bolted but plonked on to a load of concrete which had to be removed and floor levelled. All work done to a high standard, I was consulted if anything arose.
