If you have to have the upheaval of your house being rewired unexpectedly then I could not recommend Dave highly enough. One of the most efficient and caring trades people I have had come to the house. He was incredibly tidy and always ensured we had minimum disruption.

I had an alarm installed by David and cannot recommend him enough. He was able to provide good information on the options available to me and the quality of his workmanship was excellent. I went for a wired system, as opposed to wireless and it's been absolutely faultless - very refreshing considering the numerous issues other people have had with their wireless alarms. The most important thing though, is the piece of mind the system offers. Excellent work all round.

In June 2008 Mr Paine checked our house for compliance and then quoted for remedial work that was required to earn a certificate of compliance. We accepted the quote and he spent a week (while we were in Lanzarote) sorting everything out. When we got home he was just finishing the vacuuming. House spotless, everything done, certificate waiting and all for quoted price. Since then he has done several jobs for us and for friends and neighbours the latest for us being outside lights in the soffit around our rear extension. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Paine for any work and feel safe in so doing because I'm confident that if he couldn't do a job he'd say so before he took it.

First work done in April 2008 - one week spent sorting out two areas, moving fuse board and issuing certificate for house. David was quick, good at explaining and slightly under budget. House was left very clean and tidy and no problems since then. I've just called him to ask him to work on my extension (kitchen and study) while builders are replacing the roof and he asked whether I ever got round to completing the Check a Trade. Well now I have. I heartily recommend this young man.

It was so good to find a such a good work man and his colleague. They were so on the ball taking time out to explain the best materials to use to save me money and also do my bit for the environment with LED lights.
