Creation of patio, retaining wall, fencing
Paul gave us helpful suggestions about design before he started, he worked to an extremely high standard throughout, was punctual and kept us informed about progress. The site was kept tidy and he was always courteous and pleasant to deal with. Very pleased with the finished result and recommend him fully. I intend to ask him to quote for further work next year.

Landscaping, planting and New Fencing

Remove old broken patio, rebuild patio with Sandstone paving stones.
This was an extremely hard job since all the building materials had to be carried up a steep slope from the road. Paul worked very hard doing this job, and completed earlier than we had expected. Everything he did was exactly as he had said it would be, from arriving for the first estimate, turning up to start the job and finishing a day early. We are delighted with the finished patio.
Paul was pleasant and friendly all the time he was working and I would definitely use him again to do another job me.

Brick retaining wall, decking and slabs laid around shed.
Received quote from Paul quickly and in view of previous comments arranged for Paul to do our work. The work has now been completed and we are very pleased with all aspects of the work. The decking is absolutely perfect. Paul himself is a very hard worker and his workmanship is excellent. We would not hesitate in recommending Paul and look forward to any other work we may need. Replacement of fence panels/posts
I chose Paul walker on Check A Trade due to previous customer reviews. I am now happy to post my own review after the excellent service received from Paul. After my initial phone call to obtain a quote, he attended the following day and confirmed he would call back the next day with a price, which he did and at a competitive price too. After acceptance of the quote he confirmed he would attend within the next few days to complete the job, which again he did. Job completed to a high standard and I found the all-round service excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any friends/family.

Preparation of garden and planting of shrubs and trees
This is the second major project undertaken by Paul in our back garden. He levelled the garden and then prepared the ground, planted shrubs and fruit trees, and sowed a meadow mix (grasses and wild flowers). As before, we have been extremely impressed by Paul’s approach and work ethic, and we’re very pleased with the outcome. We again recommend Paul without reservation and will certainly be contacting him for our next garden project.
