As we live on a hill we needed our front garden landscaped and also our driveway paved. Paul took on the work and together we designed the garden, deciding to build retaining walls for the flower beds and lawn and laying Indian sandstone pathways. Paul carried out the work extremely well and has a flexible, pleasant approach. He is courteous, punctual and very hard working, sometimes in bad weather, and is able to understand and interpret design elements and contribute to ideas on planting, layout and materials. He worked to budget and cleared up well every day. We are very pleased with the work Paul has done for us in transforming our garden and drive, and would certainly recommend him to anyone else.

Paul gave us helpful suggestions about design before he started, he worked to an extremely high standard throughout, was punctual and kept us informed about progress. After years of having no garden to speak of (consisted of rockery, as we live on a hill). After becoming grandparents we wanted a lawn for the children so that they were able to play outside. We also thought it would be nice to have a decking area outside of our conservatory to enjoy the views around us. Paul worked single handedly and transformed our garden to exactly our expectations (and more)!). His work is outstanding and competitively priced. We would thoroughly recommend Paul for any landscaping work required - thank you Paul we love our new garden!!

This was an extremely hard job since all the building materials had to be carried up a steep slope from the road. Paul worked very hard doing this job, and completed earlier than we had expected. Everything he did was exactly as he had said it would be, from arriving for the first estimate, turning up to start the job and finishing a day early. We are delighted with the finished patio. Paul was pleasant and friendly all the time he was working and I would definitely use him again to do another job me.

I chose Paul walker on Check A Trade due to previous customer reviews. I am now happy to post my own review after the excellent service received from Paul. After my initial phone call to obtain a quote, he attended the following day and confirmed he would call back the next day with a price, which he did and at a competitive price too. After acceptance of the quote he confirmed he would attend within the next few days to complete the job, which again he did. Job completed to a high standard and I found the all-round service excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any friends/family.

This is the second major project undertaken by Paul in our back garden. He levelled the garden and then prepared the ground, planted shrubs and fruit trees, and sowed a meadow mix (grasses and wild flowers). As before, we have been extremely impressed by Paul’s approach and work ethic, and we’re very pleased with the outcome. We again recommend Paul without reservation and will certainly be contacting him for our next garden project.

This is the second time we have used Paul and as mentioned on our previous comments - we would be using him again to complete work on the front garden which he has now completed.
