On Tap Group Property Services Managing Director Elliott Raggio says "my father had a need for plumbing services for his extensive property business. One day he received a quote fo a job that he simply thought was outrageous. He told the company what they could do with the quote and decalred he would set up his own business to do it." And that was how On Tap Services was formed. "Originally it was Plumbing on Tap. We started in 2007 at the peak of the plumbing boom. We felt that some price lists were astronomically unfair, for example the average gas safety check was costing between £60 and £70.
On Tap not only do repairs but also installations. Where appropriate, we will always give a repair price and a replace price. Sometimes the replacement of say, a central heating boiler can be more economical than making a repair in the long term. We are registered with Checkatrade and so far have had over 220 feedbacks, with 9.8 out of 10 as our average score.
Elliot is clearly a busy and motivated man, not prepared to ride on his father's coat tails, but determined to establish himself as a businessman in his own right. With the launch of On Tap's new website and the ongoing success of the brand under his directorship, he looks set to do just that.

Checkatrade helps combat the UK's rogue trader problem by continuously vetting and monitoring local traders such as builders, plumbers and electricians. The idea was born in 1998 after a tornado hit the small West Sussex town of Selsey. Traders poured in from as far away as Liverpool and Manchester.
