I’m an experienced carpenter and site manager based in Central Brighton, providing quality carpentry and building services. From shelves and fitted wardrobes to loft conversions and extensions, my small team of trusted tradesmen mean I can undertake nearly any domestic work.

I set this company up to offer high quality service in an industry where often there’s a lot of mistrust.

Build and install master bedroom cupboards and custom door for garage.
Peter installed built in cupboards into our bedroom to our requirements and also made a custom sized side door to fit our garage door. The work was completed to a high standard and we were very happy with all aspects of the work. The work was done quickly and professionally. Excellent craftsmanship from both Peter and Luke! Both are extremely courteous and take pride in their work. Mess was minimal but they cleaned up thoroughly. Will definitely use Principle Carpentry again.

Meter cabinet and mortice sash locks.
Peter and his brother did an excellent job on our mini meter cabinet, making it a practical and attractive area of our hallway. Peter also installed two mortice sash locks with brass knobs and escutcheons, showing great care and attention to our recently decorated doors. We'll definitely call on them for future work!

Built an outdoor cabin, shed, including base, insulation and windows.
Peter and Luke built us this cabin and shed as we needed more storage space. They are separated by a dividing wall and the cabin is so warm now it can double up as an extra room for guests to stay. A good work ethic and their attention to detail made all the difference. No doubt in recommending this company.

Peter and his team were excellent in their services. They were happy to go above and beyond to help us get a patio that we were not able to afford through other tradesmen. To help us save money they built a fence door themselves. When the fencing arrived it was the wrong color and Peter immediately sourced the correct color. We are really pleased with the result.
