Fabulous job as texted him and got the quote quickly, he came over with his nephew, explained clearly which was best place to connect from went from there. Fixed few things that most people wouldn't bother. Explained about wiring. He even checked the boiler as the pressure was low, fixed it with no extra charge! Explained clearly how to maintain heating in the summer. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family for any plumbing job. He's absolutely brilliant and his nephew too! Great crew!

Mark was excellent, I called him at 7:00 on a Saturday morning and he was at the house within 30 minutes (It was also his birthday!). We had a leak from a mains feed to a sink. He diagnosed the problem very quickly, went to a plumber's merchant for a part and had the problem solved by 9:00. He does quality work and makes every effort to keep the price down. I would thoroughly recommend him.

I have a problem with hot water and I invited a plumber to come and check it for me. The plumber identified the problem but took a long time to get back to me with a quote. I called Mark to get a quote to exchange the part I've been told was broken, he was able to confirm that this part is indeed likely to be the problem and recommended to keep chasing the company I've started working with. I appreciate the advice and the fact that Mark didn't put his interests before mine.

Extremely fast turn-around! Mark went out of his way to make things happen and brought his entire team with him to speed the process up. Very courteous guys, checking every step with me and explaining their progress. Very clean work and finish, they even put down sheets and foil in my hallway to protect the wooden floors.

Mark was very helpful on the phone and explained how he would approach the job. We needed extra spare parts and he suggested to pick them up instead of waiting for days to have them delivered (helpful in this situation). Work was done well, boiler brought back to life and Mark was very helpful in explaining what to watch out for in the future and how to maintain the boiler. Found 2 screws of the cover later, nothing major, but they could have checked for that. Would definitely recommend the boys again!

Mark gave good advice on the phone, including which elements to buy so it would be cheaper than him sourcing what was required. Once I had the elements I called to arrange fitting. He just so happened to be nearby so kindly phoned another customer to see if he could fit the job in, and this was totally fine and good for us all round. The work was efficient, friendly, clean and wiring was an improvement on previous work. I'd definitely call Promark again. Thanks guys.

Mark responded within 3 hours of phone call, assessed the situation, did the scussed the solution and set to work. He kept me informed every step of the way and did everything he could to allay my stress which up to this point was pretty high! The work was carried out to a very high standard and completed on time and to the budget specified. Mark and Billy are to be commended for their professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail. As a customer the word I would use to describe Mark is a person you can trust, he has restored my faith in plumbers! And I would not hesitate to recommend him or use his services in the future.

Although Mark is primarily a fully qualified plumber, he also has excellent carpentry skills. He has refitted my entire shop with a new shelving system, that works and looks fantastic. He is competitively priced, accurate and clean in all the work he undergoes. I would recommend him to anyone looking not only looking for all general plumbing work but any carpentry work also.

From the first time I spoke to Mark I felt at ease. I could tell that he knew what he was talking about and despite the fact that I'm sure he had a lot of different jobs on the go. He made me feel like my job was a priority. He persisted with getting the part for my broken hot water tank when I know it wasn't the easiest of elements to source. He was lovely when I met him in person and worked hard (together with Billy) to get us sorted! I will definitely call Mark again with any plumbing concerns (although let's hope it isn't anything dramatic) and would recommend him 100% without doubt or reservation! Great guy!

Having recently moved into a property we inherited a number of plumbing issues. Mark and his apprentice Billy were punctual and polite. Mark took the time to talk me through what he thought were the main issues and costs. Over two days they made repairs to our boiler, fixed the kitchen drainage pipes, flushed and replaced several radiators. His estimate for costs and labour were accurate and reasonable. A few additional costs were incurred and he discussed this with me and allowed me to decide (no hard sell or pressure) before proceeding with any work. I can't thank Mark enough for the work he has done and highly recommend the service I received from Promark and Sons to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, professional plumbing service.

I would recommend Mark and his apprentice Billy. They were both very professional and delivered an excellent service. Initially I called them out because my boiler broke down. Against all odds they tried to repair it but sadly it went to the scrap yard in the sky! They endeavoured to supply and fit me a new boiler as soon as possible. They arrived on time, explained everything they were doing every step of the way. They carried out numerous checks on everything and cleaned up after themselves. Mark explained to me how the new boiler worked and how to work it efficiently to save on running costs. I shall recommend Promark and Sons Plumbing and Heating to all my friends. A great service!

Quite simply I was blowed over by the professionalism of Mark! Being a business owner myself I applaud this guys customer service skills. I rang and texted him at 8.30pm in the evening as my boiler was not kicking out hot water and instead of simply booking in a time for him to come out he attempted to resolve the situation via phone and text!? by looking up my boiler online and figuring out what the issue was, which he did, saving me a call out charge! Never had that before from a tradesman! I've already given his details to family and friends! Superb!

My boiler had broken down overnight. I found Mark on this website. I knew what the problem was, and he asked me to send photos to his phone so he could try to talk me through what needed doing so saving a call out charge. We weren't able resolve it so he promised to come along in the afternoon to do it for me. His previous job overran but he still kept his word and hot-footed it to my house to get the boiler going, which he did immediately and showed me exactly what to do should it happen again. Both he and his colleague Billy, were great, helpful and friendly. I would most definitely go back to him in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone else. Can't fault him.

I used this company's services to repair my combi boiler which had broken down. I didn't know much about my boiler having only recently bought my house. Based on my description of the problem Mark initially got me to do a few checks over the phone to see if it could be fixed without a call out. He then came the next day and found that the fan had broken, most likely due to all the crap/sludge going through my central heating system which blocked up the a part of the boiler causing a leak which took out the fan. He showed me where it had blocked and I could see for myself how bad it was, he also explained the cause, how to fix it, and options for avoiding a repeat occurrence. I opted to get the fan replaced (the main fix) and also to have the radiators power flushed to clean the system out to avoid a repeat breakdown - I also got it done because I knew they were pretty blocked up and not working that efficiently. While he and his team was here I also got them to change some taps. I'm not particularly technical but did appreciate Mark explaining what had gone wrong and why, how the power flush worked (it's magnetic) and would get the sludge out - which he showed me on the day, and how to take better care of my boiler. Since then the boiler has worked fine and is even a bit quieter, and the radiators are a lot hotter since they were flushed, and now heat up quicker too. The costs were explained up front and in total came in a little under what I expected.

We had an emergency at my Dad's warehouse, as a candle had melted the outside plastic loo cistern, which caught fire, destroyed it and we had a mains water fountain! (luckily it was in the yard, so went down the drain and didn't flood anything). Sent Mark photos late afternoon, (what a good idea?! Saves wasting his time coming to assess first) he picked up the right cistern/ pipework and arrived early next day (as promised). Did a very neat and tidy and imaginative job and added a stopcock to the new pipework and sorted out a couple of other plumbing problems in the building. Not the cheapest, but would highly recommend to others. He came out at very short notice and we're completely happy with every aspect of the work carried out. Will definitely use him again.

Mark did a phenomenal job and I cannot rate the quality and diligence of his work highly enough. He spent a great deal of time checking the boiler, cooker and gas mains, going above and beyond to ensure I had peace of mind and to explain the function of the appliances. I would give him the very highest possible endorsement as a high quality professional. The extra lengths he went to explaining safety features and current gas appliance standards have given me a great deal of security in knowing what to do in the future. He also successfully identified much needed work which had sadly been overlooked in a previous gas check by a different plumber. I now know where to go for all future work.

Tenants advised that shower wasn't working. Estate agent sent a contractor to check and advised me (landlord) that a new shower is required. I challenged the contractor's view (that a new shower was required) as the shower was installed by Mark just a year earlier. And so I asked Mark to go look at the shower. Mark investigated and it appears the shower was fine. Just the electrical wiring that feeds into the shower wasn't working (wear and tear - more than 10 years old). So Mark rewired the electrics from the mains to the shower itself. All working, tenants happy and landlord happy. Clearly the contractor sent by the estate agent did not even do the bear minimum of opening the shower to see what was wrong with it. Instead the contractor jumped into concluding that the shower needed to be replaced, which would have cost me much more than Mark fixed it for me.

Excellent job. Mark was very friendly and polite. He went over and above his job remit as instructed by the estate agency. Not only did he fix the boiler he gave me a lesson on how to use the boiler and vent the radiators - he took the extra time to show me how to do this and then checked every radiator in the flat with me - supervising me using my new skill, until they were all working at their best heating potential. Mark even fixed one of the taps after realising that it wasn't running hot water when he was washing his hands. All at no extra cost! I would absolutely recommend Mark to anyone looking for a genuine, trustworthy plumber. 5*

Mark and his men were very professional and hardworking. While attaching the thermostatic valves, Mark noticed that our central heating wasn't working properly - water was leaving the radiator at a good temperature but massively losing heat along the way. He flushed out our system but when a part went on the boiler he suggested getting a new one. He also predicted that this might happen as the previous owners had not maintained the boiler. He got us a good deal on a very good boiler and while installing it, noticed that there were problems with the gas supply to our house - he called in a gas engineer quickly to deal with the problem. We would definitely recommend him.

Work was completed professionally. Mark came exactly when he said he would and immediately went out to get the part and replaced the flow valve. As it didn't take long and I was being charged the hourly rate, he also offered to look at the central heating while he was there. Unfortunately our old pipe work began to leak an hour later, but he came back as soon as he could (within a couple of hours) and worked on it. He replaced the old pipework without charge.

A department store had delivered our new washing machine and were going to connect it for us, but when they checked the connection set up we were told they were not qualified to do it. This put us in an unexpected situation so I quickly found the trader on Checkatrade and gave him a call. He was very helpful and came round that afternoon after he had finished another job and got the washing machine plumbed in there and then. Can't recommend enough. Mark took time out on the phone to talk to me the evening before for half an hour (not billed for) to see if I could fix it myself by getting me to do some simple tests and avoid charging me when nothing was wrong. When they came round he explained what they were doing step by step as well as performing tests on the heating system and fitting a part not in the original quote for free. Mark Newman has helped us brilliantly before, so we naturally called upon him again when we wanted to replace the old leaky bathroom tub and shower with a modern new walk-in shower and have new tiles on the walls, etc. He worked very hard, always to the highest professional standard, and kept us fully informed each step of the way. The job proved to be quite tricky, but he overcame every obstacle and went far out of his way to help pick out a new vinyl floor. The result is a super newly-renovated bathroom! He and his apprentice were always punctual, friendly, and in fact thoroughly enjoyable throughout the project. The pricing was fair and very reasonable. Mark has provided us with a really first rate service. We asked him to investigate a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling from the en-suite bathroom. We also wanted our 2 showers replaced. He went out of his way to fully assess the pipe work and determine the source of the leak. He kept us informed at all times so that we knew the cost/how long the work would take. Mark gave us options for how to install the 2 new showers and advised on the best way to achieve the result we wanted, while always letting us know what costs would be involved. He has provided lots of helpful information while working here and spoken to other people on our behalf to get the results we wanted - e.G. Insurance companies, Thames Water. He even helped unload my supermarket delivery when I had my hands full with my daughter! I really can't recommend him highly enough. We have found Mark through this site about a year ago and used his services a few times since. After some very bad experiences with incompetent and overcharging tradesmen, we're really glad we found Mark. He is very reliable, explains in detail his suggested course of action and gets the job done well. Last year he serviced our central heating with power-flushing of all radiators and replacing some old radiators. Unfortunately our boiler died this spring, so Mark fitted a new one.

Our tiny kitchen (which had never had a dishwasher before) posed a few problems for fitting but Mark was able to offer several solutions and explained the work/ price involved clearly. After a few hours he had removed a cupboard, fitted the machine and plumbed it all in. I was happy with the price and having used Promark and Sons before it was nice to have a chat with Mark again while he worked. We will certainly call again for more work in our house. Highly recommended to everyone

Mark was very punctual and did everything possible to keep my tenant happy and get the problem fixed as soon as possible. He offered to deal directly with the tenant to resolve teething problems and provide that professional service.

Luke came out after a quick call and he worked very quickly preventing the ceiling below from being too damaged (he even offered to come back and check to make sure the damage didn't require an estimate for insurance). But this was not required.  He was very easy going and polite. He also sorted a tap leak free of charge.  Very professional work and not too expensive.

We purchased our bathroom suite and called Promark (amongst others) for prices on fitting it. Mark came round the same evening to have a look and give us an idea on cost. There were some issues with our wall hanging toilet but Mark was able to come up with a solution which was more involved than we had anticipated but has been a success. We decided to do the tiling and finishing off ourselves (as the complication with the toilet had added to the cost) so Mark and his team fitted our bath, sink, radiator and toilet for us over a couple of days. I was very impressed with their knowledge and skills and was very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Promark and Sons to anyone
