Very proffessional and helpful. Marcin spent about an hour going round the house and asking what I wanted before giving me a quote. He had an ipad with him containing a spreadsheet which he was filling in as we went round the house. He was able to give me a formal quote on the spot and gave me a copy of the spreadsheet. The work was carried out on time and to a high standard. Very pleased with the job and would have no problem recomending them to people.

Pro-Teck came in with the second best estimate of 6 and were easily the most professional. After a bit of a haggle they easily beat the lowest quote. The lads turned up when they said they would (over a weekend) knocked out a full rewire, including chasing of solid brick walls throughout, re-bonding, earthing, smoke detectors, new consumer unit and Part P Cert in 2.5 days. The price was as agreed and no attempt was made to add additional costs even though I asked for a minor alteration to the original plan. Now I own 10 buy to let properties and I'm well versed with the great British tradesman so believe me when I tell you if you want to hire someone who'll be in the pub for 2, won't work weekends and are willing to pay 1,500 to 2,000 extra for the privilege you go right ahead and hire him - I'll be sticking with Pro-Teck.

Martin and his team finished my full rewire today and I must say I am absolutely delighted with their work. From the day of the quote to completion of the job there were no problems nothing was an issue and the work is perfect. Channelling of the Walls is precise no corners cut. When there are times channeling could be done diagonally across the wall for a short cut this option is never taken and always done at right angles. The quality of materials is brilliant, I was working in the house also during the rewire and the workers are so friendly they would even help me lift big items when they could see me struggling. Daniel is superb, and the team he worked with Pablo brilliant chaneller, Lucas very nice man top quality work Martins father again very friendly and great workmanship and finally the man in charge Martin, very friendly happy to help and do extra jobs as the works went on and he is the most efficient person I have ever met it is a shame that not all tradesmen are as good as these guys. I would thoroughly recommend these guys they are spot on, price spot on, quality spot on, always on time and these guys work hard from the time they arrive til the time they go 12-13 hour days on occasions to get the job done. Checked profiles of a few electricians on checkatrade and after much consideration invited Pro-Tec for a quotation. It was not the cheapest quote but was the best value for a properly qualified, insured and registered company. Pro-Tec proved an extremely well organised team, with a meticulous and tidy approach. The team proved to be very hard working, punctual and willing to sort out ‘niggles’ at no additional cost. If you are looking for a well motivated and professional outfit to do your electrical work Pro-Tec simply must be asked to quote for the job as they offer excellent value. Work was completed on time at quoted price, which was a surprise, as most companies I have used in the past always seemed to have add-ons. I would recommend this company because of the price, punctuality and tidiness of their work. The guys were polite and helpful and when work was completed they left the place as they found it. We had used Martin and his team once before, sorting out the electrics in two bedrooms in late 2010: we found them courteous, reasonably priced, reliable, and the standard of work and quality of finish excellent. Martin himself is a great guy and a really knowledgeable electrician who takes care to explain things in layman's terms. He never gives the impression anything you require is more complex/time-consuming and costly than it actually is - basically you get an honest assessment at a good price and delivered to a great standard in the timescales you ask for. We are currently renovating our house, trying to get it finished before the birth of our daughter. Martin and his team, at short notice, came in recently and did eleven hours electrical work. Not only did they do every job asked (and there were a few), they kindly did a few more for no extra charge. That is what I call service. I cannot recommend Pro-Tek and Martin highly enough. I would not use any other electrician or firm - they are a credit to their profession

Although a small house the specification was fairly high with a lot of sockets, a transfer switch and additional earthing to allow the house to be powered from a generator. Martin understood all the requirements, and is obviously very knowledgeable. They fully deserve a 10 for reliability and time keeping and also for courtesy. His team turned up on time, and really know the meaning of a proper day's work. They finished on budget and 3 days ahead of the estimated time. Quality of work is great, and they made an effort to keep the dirt down to a minimum. I gave 9's here as there is no such thing as a perfect job, but Pro-Teck came close. I recommend them to anyone.
