Chose Quake due to their excellent Checkatrade rating. Waited four months between initial contact and the job being completed after making numerous phone calls of complaint and being given a multitude of excuses. I received the poorest standard of customer service and the installation was rushed and mess not tidied properly. Would not recommend them to anyone

The initial survey was done on 25.11.10 the loft insulation was completed on 23.12.10 and the rest of the job done on 21.2.11, in between these dates we were in constant communication with the customer. In my opinion the level of service was of our usual standard, in fact we went beyond the call of duty in regards to his works. We advised the customer he needed a scaffold to complete the job but he rejected this on account of costs. We only agreed to do the schedule of works without a scaffold if we could complete everything on a dry day to ensure no health and safety risks to our staff. The customer agreed to our terms and conditions so as you can appreciate we are somewhat surprised by his feedback.

The person who came to do the estimate was helpful and reasurring, as were the two that completed the work. They got on with the job without any fuss or delay, it was a relief not to be messed around. I would recommend them.

In my opinion installation engineer took short cuts, which required remedial work. Company responding to problems was very poor. Did not respond to letters, emails or phone calls. Have carried out all remedial works satisfactorily. I was let down at early point of contact. Company has now carried out a review - but I can't verify.
