Moved existing outside light and replaced. Sockets and internal light to conservatory.
Richard was cheerful, courteous and thoughtful. He advised me every step of the way what was happening. The work was completed to a high standard. Even though it involved him going in and out in the pouring rain, nothing was too much trouble.

Replacement of an Oven
I contacted Richard after reading good remarks on this Checkatrade site. I wanted someone to replace my mother’s oven, she lives in Hove I am in Surrey and was not sure who to call. Richard went to my mother’s home the very next day even though he had other jobs on he did all he possible could to fit us in. He removed the old oven, went and sourced a new one and fitted it. The electrics also needed upgrading and so Richard organised that too. Nothing was too much trouble for him, which I appreciated as I was remote and needed to trust someone to do a good job efficiently as my mother had recently undergone surgery and was recuperating. Richard was a good communicator, efficient, friendly yet professional. Highly recommended.

Removed old gas oven and housing; assembled new housing and installed new electric oven
He phoned and said that as he had finished his previous job early if he could come round that afternoon. He arrived, sized up the job, quoted the price, we agreed, and the job from start to finish took only 4 1/2 hours. It was a bit tricky as he had to work around the existing kitchen, pipes, cables etc. and a spur for the electrics was required as an electric oven had not been used at the property before. All in all a good, tidy job. Have got him lined up for a full refit on the near future.

Electric sockets fitted in new conservatory
What should have been a simple job turned into a nightmare, which Richard, with thorough and efficient investigation managed to sort out. The problem was a broken earth wire which was located and replaced with the minimum amount of disruption and mess.
