Well pleased with the work Richard did for me. He took great care to leave the place clean on completion. Dust sheets laid prior to commencement, hoovered up on when finished. Richard also did a small job in bathroom for which he made no additional charge.

The sink taps were fitted no problem; we also had the boiler serviced. We had asked for him to replace a set of bath taps as they are leaking quite badly. With hindsight we should have asked for a quote, as on arrival he said it was "too big a job" and the sink unit would have to be removed in order to fit the bath taps. I got the impression that he had promised his time to someone else, otherwise I think he would have done it for us.

Richard has been out twice to us in the last few weeks. First time to fit a new hot water system and the second time to service the boiler. Boiler replaced in one day, price charged was the estimate. Workmanship excellent, very neat and tidy. Explained when doing estimate what changes what would be done and these were stuck to. Will be going back to R J Oliver Heating services for my annual services from now on.

This was a difficult job as heavy boiler had to be carried up to 1st floor flat, but they succeeded with the minimum of fuss. The installation was completed and they even took the old boiler away. Price charged for the work was as quoted. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Highly recommeded by a friend, one phone call he arrived for an estimate, within 20 mins he had given me an excellent quote and a start time was agreed. I used Richard for the second time last week and again the service was faultless. I needed taps replacing on the bath and 3 sinks as they had been faulty since I moved into my new house. I emailed Richard on Easter Monday to see if he would be able to do it and he came out that afternoon to have a look and price it up. He then phoned me first thing Tuesday morning and gave me a quote for the price of the taps and said he would be round on Friday to complete. Richard completed the work on the Friday whilst I was at work and everything was sorted by the time I was home that evening. Richard also replaced a hot water tank at my house in October 2011. I had asked him for a quote on a boiler but he told me this would not be needed as our boiler was fine and he could replace the tank which would be half the price. Again Richard carried out the work promptly and to budget. He is a really nice guy as well who I will be using again and I would recommend him to anyone.

Richard not only did a great job in servicing the boiler and two gas fire appliances, but also took the time to check the very high water temperature and on checking the wiring of the air cupboard tank discovered a wiring fault which was heating the water when the central heating was on. This was rectified quickly and has made a big difference, as it will to our bills I am sure. Richard is very reasonable in his charges and does a great job. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
