Richard was a pleasure to deal with from the start. Friendly, accommodating and a hard worker. I have marked him down slightly as he was an hour late on the first day but he did apologise for this and otherwise was completely reliable. The work he has carried out is excellent. The doors, which were all binding and dragging on the carpets, now fit perfectly and are much easier to close. Richard worked solidly over two days and I can find nothing to complain about in his work. Polite, courteous, and careful, I will definitely use him again in the future.

Richard has made me a beautiful unit to house my art materials with bookshelves above. Although it was made to my specifications he suggested lovely touches which finished it to perfection. I have only had it 10 days but everyone who has seen it has given it rave reviews. In addition he also made me two lovely occasional tables from left over oak used on my kitchen worktops - again all made and finished to perfection. I cannot recommend Richard highly enough - he is a true professional who takes real pride in his work and a very nice person. I will never look anywhere else for any carpentry work I need in the future.

The cabinet, a storage piece the width of two alcoves created when I took down an internal lounge/diner wall, is very well finished and fitted precisely despite variances in the walls. Phoning Richard has to be one of the best phone calls I ever made. He has built me a lovely office in my hallway. I do not have a large flat and he came up with great ideas including designing it in a way that the hall still looks a nice size when you walk through the door and the unit looks very pleasing on the eye. He also put right a thoroughly botched job I had, had on some doors last year. I felt rather guilty asking if he could help with me with that, but he was absolutely charming about it and just took on everything with complete professionalism. He is clearly a very skilled person and I have already recommended him to other people. He is just the nicest person, extremely competent with great input of ideas and he really created me a lovely home office that is unique and absolutely in keeping with my home. I just cannot recommend him too highly.

Our new guttering was done by cowboys and we'd had no luck getting them to come back to fix it all. Richard came, took it all down and correctly re-fitted it all including down pipes. Took his time but job well done.
