Designed, built and installed a garden shed in a difficult location

The work included cutting down a tree, clearing an area behind the garage where the shed was to be located and laying a concrete base. Tony and his team were quick, efficient, friendly, courteous and very tidy. I would certainly employ Racedown Designs again and have hesitation in recommending them.

Replaced whole fence

Work very neat and tidy. Although was delayed arriving still finished job that day without rushing and cleaned up brilliantly. Requested them back to stain the fence as well in a few weeks time.

Replace fence post and repair make good fence panels

Arrived on time, gave written quote, Arrived when agreed to do work, allowed for concrete to set over weekend, returned as agreed Tuesday to do repair and make good fence panels. First class workmanship. Final bill as per written quote. Kept informed at all times. One of the most polite tradesman I have ever met. A+ will use again if / when other areas of fence need repair.

Extension to patio

Old shingle fully removed, new patio very nicely interlinked with old one rather than just two straight lines butting up against each other. Project finished in excellent time and all to a standard with which we are extremely satisfied. I should also say this is the second time we have used this company the first was for a block paved driveway and once again excellent work and knowledge about rules regarding drainage etc.

Hard and soft landscaping to two courtyard gardens

Complete redesign of back garden

My back garden was previously overgrown with a mixture of paving types and I wasn't sure what sort of design I wanted. Tony sketched out a rough design that met all my requirements in a matter of minutes while other garden designers wanted payment up front before they'd even discuss ideas. All the work was done to a high standard with good quality materials and I'm very happy with the finished result. Tony took the time to show me all the different plants afterwards and give me advice about how to look after them in future. I've marked them down for time keeping because the start date for the work was rescheduled a few times when work ran over on the previous job. Also there were some finishing touches to do on my garden that took a couple of weeks to be completed after the main work. The only other negative point is that I expected a couple of other minor things to be included in the quote that weren't due to vague wording in the contract.

Decking to replace existing patio and increase size

Fantastic, very pleased with the finished decking and so glad with followed the recommendation of extending the area. It looks fantastic, so much better than the patio that was there before. Looking forward to Spring so we can do alot more dining outside, thank you.
