I started up R&M Property Maintenance Ltd in October 2007 in Hamble, Hampshire after moving into the area to be near my sister. Previous to that, I worked in Southern Ireland roofing (lead working) due to a national shortage of skilled lead workers. I lived over there for 3 years before returning to the mainland.
Before Ireland, I lived and worked in West London learning my trades and specialising in roofing, particularly lead work and natural slating.
I am now competent in all aspects of carpentry work and love working with wood, thanks to my roofing experience and also brickwork and patio work.
Myself and employees are also very capable painters and decorators and able to hang wallpaper including intricate patterns. We also paint the exterior of buildings and can work at height.
Over the past few years the demand for my services has grown and although I am often seen working around the Hamble and Netley areas, I have also had alot of work from the Southampton suburbs and recently completed 2 jobs in Wandsworth, London, so as you can see, I am willing to travel.
The company will take on small domestic work as well as larger projects.
In total, I have 28 years building experience and only when you and I are happy with the work carried out do I walk away from it and I take personal pride in every job that my company takes on.

Repaired Leaking Garage Roof plus Fascias and Guttering / Detected and solved cause of Damp Indoor Wall and made good.
