The Ridgway men started work on the date agreed. They were always on time and worked consciously until they were forced to stop because of the rain. The next rainless day they returned to finish the job. I found them very honest and reliable; always with a happy smile and cheerful word. They were very respectful and carried out the work to a very high standard leaving the site in a finished and clean state. I am now the proud owner of a beautifully painted house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ridgway's for any of the works they specialize in. I have already booked them for inside painting work commencing later this year.

Terry arrived on time, and worked incredibly hard all day. He meticulously removed all the old plaster and prepared the edges of where the wall met the other wall prior to taking down the bricks. The wall came down effortlessly, quietly and relatively cleanly! He even offered to take away the rubble for me - he did not quote for this and there was no additional charge. I was very happy with Terry's work and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We cannot find fault with the excellent service provided by this company. The work covered many areas including general building, plastering, electrical, carpentry, roofing, a complete new bathroom and internal/external decoration. The work was well co-ordinated, performed to an extremely high standard and in line with all our deadlines - and all at a very reasonable cost. The guys were engaging and constructive and worked with meticulous attention to detail. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

A very efficient, friendly and competent service and the work appears to have been completed to a high standard. Despite the inevitable delays caused by the bad weather, Brian kept us informed of progress and turned up whenever the weather allowed. Although the quote initially appeared expensive, we were very pleasantly surprised to discover that it already included work to remove cracked concrete flashing adjoining the party wall and replace it with lead flashing which we had not specifically requested (but knew would need doing at some future time). Ridgeway appear to have a team of specialists to call on, both in house and through partner companies, so they were also able to address several other maintenance jobs which we had been meaning to get around to arranging. We also like the fact that they are a small local company which has to do a good job every time to maintain their reputation and keep new business coming in. We would definitely recommend them and will be using them again ourselves in the future as a one-stop shop for any household maintenance requirements.
