Kitchen sink and tap replaced

I bought a new sink and tap and booked John to remove the existing fittings and plumb in the new items - but I hadnt realised that the connectors weren't right for UK pipes. John solved the problem without any fuss. He did a very tidy job and as always gave great attention to detail. This is the third job John has done for us (previously 2 bathrooms) and I would definitely recommend him.

Refurbish bathroom

John changed our bath for a shower fitted new toilet and sink units stripped out all old tiles and retiled top to bottom. Because the window was not central in the room and not square he had to knock out the plaster round the window and re-plaster to make it square so that the tileing looked good. We now have a bathroom to be proud of and all visitors are impressed with the quality. An exceptionally very good job.

Extra work needed to finish bathroom

Johns work is always high quality.If there is a problem he will find a solution for it.John laid a wooden floor as a base for lino,fitted electic light and a wooden door for me.His prices are extremely fair and he will never overprice a job.I would recomend him to anyone.

Emergency call-out for fault on Central Heating system

Most conscientious. Faulty diversion valve located, dismantled and replaced. Very pleased with work done. Would recommend at any time.

En-suite bathroom - fit new shower, screen and tray, new radiator and lights. Also tiling, ceiling plaster and extractor fan.

We were pleased with Riva's work on our family bathroom so followed up with the en-suite. Once again John was very professional throughout and the quality of workmanship was very good. Extra work requested by us was fairly priced. As before, John was very helpful in discussing ideas and providing practical solutions - thank you and well done!

Family bathroom completely refurbished - new shower and tray, new bath, toilet and basin repositioned. The project included installation of lights and extractor fan and full height tiling.

John was extremely professional in his approach and very happy to discuss ideas so that we got the end product we wanted. Throughout the work there was a 'can do' attitude and practical solutions were found to any problems. Some details of the project evolved during the work and there were some additional items requested by us which John took in his stride and priced fairly. John took time and care to ensure the quality of finish, and we are very pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending Riva.

Installation of new kitchen

John Cousins installed my bathroom and I was so pleased with the work that I asked John to fit my kitchen. John dismantled and removed the old kitchen and installed new cupboards/cooker/extractor fan/washing machine/fridge plus tiling. Any snags with the installation John found solutions to. I am extremely pleased with the work and would highly recommend Riva. Later this year I want two bedroom cupboards made and wouldn't think of asking anyone else to carry out the work.

Bath and old shower removed - replaced with new shower + new toilet + hand basin

After reading all John's reviews we decided he would be the person to alter our bathroom for us which was not a straight forward job and needed some good ideas. Well John has come up with all we wanted in ideas and now all complete with old bath removed completely and a new shower in its place. We had more things also changed round and John was able to come up with suitable ideas. He kept tidy each day - budget was kept to and we are very thankful to have had him to do this job. Would highly recommend him for his work and his kind and helpful manner.

Mend kitchen tap and replace faulty stopcock

John Cousins has done several jobs for us and he always sticks to his estimate. Usually he manages to do the job for less, because he looks for the most economic but good quality solution . The work is done professionally and efficiently. Very reliable. Recommended.
