It is always difficult selecting a tradesman, with the help of Checkatrade and the previous reviews, I chose to use RJM. I would definitely recommend Ricky and RJM, they took care of my home, even removing their shoes to protect my cream carpet. I need to have more radiators replaced and have no hesitation using RJM again.

He was able to come at short notice near Christmas and the new year and said why the problem had arisen, as well as sorting out the problem and recommending a measure to prevent a different issue from developing.

Even though Ricky had a great deal of work on, he came round specifically to do this job for us in the evening as it was seen as an emergency as our family was not able to bath properly. After the initial quote Ricky arrived on time and on the day he had said he would do the work, with a new pump and everything required to do the job. Although several issue came up during the course of the repairs which involved extra work for him, Ricky was not stressed and ensured he did not leave until all the issues he had found were resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a good and reliable plumber, and we will most certainly be using him again whenever we have any plumbing issues.

Trace a long term leak from the shower drain, strip out a large amount of water damaged flooring in the bathroom, hall and kitchen, repair the leak and finally renew the floating floor.

Ricky’s ability to tackle both the plumbing and carpentry work involved proved invaluable. Initially he came at short notice to do the strip out work and then had to wait nearly three weeks until the insurance company was satisfied that the structure was dry. Ricky and his men returned again at short notice to install the new floating floor and reinstate the bungalow. There were a few extra bits of work not covered by the first quotes, Ricky warned us about these as they came to light and priced them reasonably.

Ricky built two training rigs for our loft installers to use when training and when hiring new employees that will need to be trained. They were made so we can see exactly what the installers are doing in them so they can be assessed. They were made for insulation to be laid, pipes to be lagged and tanks to be covered with a jacket.

Ricky built a silo in our yard to hold poly bead insulation for cavity walls. The had to put in a window/door, ventilation pipes and netting top help secure the bead. This was done very quickly and we are really happy with the outcome.
