Mr May built a wall and put up a fence in my garden amongst other things. He arrived on time, was a very tidy worker and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I would definitely get him to do more work at my house.

Our bathroom was in a terrible state, having been leaking for a long time. Richard came in and recommended the best course of action at a very reasonable price. He was quick, efficient, helpful and extremely clean and tidy. The bathroom looks amazing.

Re-built rear of house new roof - the lot!
Richard is a pro! His desire to do the job properly is admirable and reassuring. As we have an older house, the building work revealed a few surprises which effected the budget but Richard always worked with us to help us find the right answer - even coming to the house in our hours with a new baby on the way. He's dedicated. Snap him up! He's always busy.

New kitchen including knocking through from one room to the next. Massive job!
Hi! This job was a nightmare for Rich. We were the classic 'changing our minds every 5 minutes' clients. Going from a bespoke handmade kitchen (which Rich was going to make himself with the woodworking skills from heaven) to making the living room and kitchen from two separate rooms into a modern and AWESOME open plan space which lets my wife ask for stuff from the fridge from the couch. Blam! So the job changed up a lot but Rich was always there to help. From hardcore structural stuff and Council approvals to fitting the 'off the shelf' kitchen we finally settled on. He was also super cool about juggling the budget around. Which means we still have things in the fridge that I can bring to my wife from our baddass kitchen. Oh yeah - and we did it through the winter which sucked but Rich was quick as possible so, again - kudos.

Fit new bathroom, knocked through two rooms to make larger rooms, this involved structural support to the roof.
RM Builders gave my husband and I the best quote and in the most timely manner. The work started quickly and efficiently with a satisfying progress rate. Richard was always there to answer questions and ask our preferences for any choices we had along the way. The work only went a little over schedule but that was because of changes to the original plan. As a team they were very reliable and really good to work with. So good in fact we have hired them again to fit our new kitchen, knock through another wall and re roof our extension! Richard has been brilliant about keeping us informed and reassured throughout. Richard has been able to sort it all out with a great attitude. We highly recommend him!

Damp repairs in basement
Two separate damp repairs done in our office basement, Victorian building. Richard and Peter have been efficient and reliable from the start as well as easy to get on with. The quote was done quickly and then work was carried out the work to a very good standard. If there was a reason he couldn't attend he would inform us of this and the reason why. We were also impressed by his efforts to keep the office clean by using plastic floor coverings to protect the carpet and further sheets to enclose the area to stop dust travelling. Would definitely recommend him and use him for future works.

Stabilisation of gable wall and repointing.
After research and three quotes I decided to go with RM Building and was not disappointed. Good communication throughout job. Very tidy, explanations and little drawings to show what was being done! Would definitely recommend.
