“When the floor was completed and I could eventually enter the kitchen some 3 days later, there were 6 chipped tiles, four tiles that were laid too high, two scored across the corners, 8 scratched and one that had started to move after two weeks with the grout cracking. Tiler would not rectify. I contacted the company that supplied the tiles and a representative came out who said had the tiler not laid them, the tiles would have been replaced. I had to order new tiles and have since had to remove all the tiles and where the tile moved and the grout had cracked there were about 8 tiles that would have come up as well as the floor was not level (some 1cm out) and the latex had not stuck to the ply.”

Response from RXN Tiling:
Upon completion of this job I was paid in full and no grievances were made until two and a half weeks later. When hearing of this, although I had just suffered a fracture to my shoulder, I made arrangement to visit with the help of my wife for transport. At this meeting a plan of action was agreed and that upon my return to work I would make contact to arrange a time to carry this out . In spite of my efforts by phone and email I received no reply until for a further 3-4 weeks later.
These comments are the first time I am being made aware of some of these issues and it sounds like it has been taken out of my hands as was not presented to me upon my visit. At no time have I refused to return to resolve any grievances.
