Had 3 quotes, all from local installers. Of the three, Steve showed good knowledge of all products available, including Bosch range that we'd preferred, all regulations that applied and even advised of issues with existing gas appliances. Of the quotes received (for what is quite a large investment), Steve's was the best overall; when considering his previous Check-A-Trade rating, this swung us in favour of selecting Steve to do the whole job. I am very impressed by Steve's work ethic, pricing principles and overall professionalism. Our house was left, clean and tidy with all holes filled and sealed and most importantly very warm! Steve and Ray did a terrific job between them and I would have no hesitation in recommending Steve Bell Heating Services in future. Thank you Steve and Ray!

I required a gas safety certificate at very short notice. A non-compliance issue was found. He agreed to do the work at 8.30pm the next evening because I had a deadline. The job was easier than expected, so I was charged less than quoted. Excellent service would highly recommend.

A colleague recommended Steve to me so I asked him to quote on installing and replacing 7 radiators, 2 of which were to be moved to a different part of each room. I chose Steve as he gave me the most competitive price for the job, and when he visited my house to quote he came across as highly knowledgeable and highlighted many factors which I had to consider (most of which were not picked up by other tradesman whom I had quote me for this job). I am extremely happy with the work Steve completed, all done competently and to a high standard. Steve also identified and fixed a problem with my boiler which had been present for years. Despite several boiler services by other tradesmen over a number of years, this boiler problem had never been identified yet Steve had the knowledge to spot this. All in all, I am very happy with Steve's work, I already plan to bring him back to do another job for me, and I would highly recommend him to anybody considering his services.

As a retired corgi registered builder I was very impressed with the quality of work, and the specifications that were offered. We were kept fully informed at all times, and my wife was impressed with the care Steve showed during the work. All work areas were covered with dust sheets, and upon completion there was little to show that Steve had been in the house. Would certainly use again, and have no hesitation recommending to friend and family.

Contacted Steve to troubleshoot problem with gas boiler. He was unable to come out at that time but unprompted later that day telephoned and offered to come out and have a look. He was polite and obviously knew his job. I would recommend him.

Came out the next day. Asked if he should take his shoes off! (Nobody else has ever bothered) Steadily worked through the boiler until fault was found. Friendly and polite. We would not hesitate to ask for his help again and would highly recommend him.

On discovering I had no hot water, I called Steve at approximately 4:30 on a SATURDAY afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised to be given a time of approximately 6:30 for him to arrive.(Where as others I called from Checkatrade had not even answered or got back to me) He arrived spot on time and had a badge to prove who he was.  It took him roughly 10 mins to work out there was actually no fault with the boiler but the gas pipe has accidentally been switched off whilst I had been hoovering!!! He then only wanted to charge me £5, I was obviously extremely grateful for his honesty and therefore gave him a little more.  This situation to some so called 'Rogue Traders' would have been the perfect opportunity to charge me the earth which Steve did not. Well done I would most definately recommend you in the future.
