Stephen responded promptly to our request to visit and quote for work. He provided a reasonable quotation and commenced work at short notice. Stephen showed respect for our home and newly installed fixtures, including protecting areas where his kit and materials were stored. He's courteous and industrious delivering craftsmanship to be proud of. He did a lovely job in confined surroundings vastly improving the finish to walls and ceiling. Steve from S Groom Plastering came to plaster walls in our new art gallery in Stoke Newington. We were under strict time pressures to get the work done in time for opening and Steve made sure all the work was carried out in the time frame. He is both polite and tidy and he carried out the job within the budget. Most importantly though he an excellent plasterer, the work was all to a high standard. I would recommend 100%!

Having used Steve before for a bathroom job I had no hesitation in calling on his services again. Steve is punctual, tidy, hard-working, knowledgeable, provides competitive pricing. Luckily, this didn't stop him doing an excellent job. His work-rate and attention to detail is first-rate, completing the job on time and on budget. The work seemed daunting as it included a very large expanse of continuous wall that varied in height, a fireplace and combined dry-lining, rendering and making-good. This wasn't an issue for Steve, he tackled it as he does all his work; perfectly. I continue to be extremely pleased with Steve's work and recommend him to anyone.

This is the second time I have employed Steve, such is the confidence I have in him. The work required of Steve was considerable; boarding out the ceiling, dry-lining a huge expanse of continuous wall, rendering particular areas, skimming and then installing coving. I can say without hesitation that his work is of the highest quality. He was punctual, tidy, great with advice, polite, thorough and hard-working. His quote did not change, was competitive and fair.

Steve done a brilliant job. He was curteous to my property and belongings throughout and kept the flat well tidy and clean. His work was exceptional and I was some what surprised to the level of attention to detail Steve had for his work. I thought the price was extremly competitive and quality of craftsmanship was outstanding. I would say out of all the trades I had on site during my renovation Steve was the one who took the most care in not only his work but also my property. Graet tidy worker, invoiced and billed on time and always on site on time. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting plastering work done. Its a hassle free service.

I had Steve come into to replaster two rooms after a previous company I had in early last year made a complete hash of it. He was able to achieve a really high smooth finish. Arrived on time for the quote as well as for the 2 day works. It's refreshing to find somebody out there who is good at what they do. He kept the place as clean as can be reasonably expected given the nature of the work, was very polite and would use his services again.
