The work had to be postponed twice because of the weather but we were kept informed every step of way. Arrived promptly, worked very efficiently without any delays. Tidied up after the work was finished and we were very satisfied with his work from start to finish and have already recommended him to a friend. We have also asked him to quote for some further work on our home.

Highly recommended builder who arrived to estimate works within 1 hour of my initial phone call. Agreed a timeframe for commencement of work immediately. Kept to agreed schedule and arrived promptly everyday. Courteous, polite, thorough and very knowledgeable - immediately identified the cause of a serious issue which inevitably halted a major house flood. Effected a temporary fix with thought and care and without the need to damage any other areas of the house even though there was the need to dismantle part of my kitchen. Works speedily, methodically and his work is of a high standard. Keeps the customer involved in progress of work and nothing is too much for him (he even fixed my porch door without me asking). Great guy and hope to use him imminently subject to insurance company. Have no hesitation in recommending.

Very pleased with Simon's work. Particularly pleased that he just did what needed to be done, without fuss, so that the job was finished to a high standard. I was away whilst most of the work was being done, and expected to have to answer questions and deal with problems whilst I was away, but Simon took care of everything and there were no issues to deal with.

Having visited a property that SA Services had recently renovated, I was more that happy with the quality of the work to use their services. A quote was given by SA Services for the initial work requested and his team moved in quickly once we had agreed the quote. At all stages of the renovation I was kept fully informed of any issues that cropped up and a revised estimate given for approval before any further work was carried out. One particularly good technique was their use of phone picture messaging to allow me to assess issues without having to visit the property. On a number of occasions, an alternative method of solving issues was suggested which saved me time and money. SA Services were able to provide a complete one stop shop service and took care of all of the coordination and project management of builders, electricians, plumbers, gas fitters and all of the waste disposal which made the job go very smoothly. I would recommend their services and quality and plan on using them again for any future issues with the property.

I own a maisonette which is rented out to tenants. The tenants phoned me recently to tell me the boiler was not working properly. Without knowing any plumbers in the area, I looked on checkatrade and decided to telephone Simon Anderson, given his ratings. He said he would contact the tenants that evening to try and arrange a visit the following day. He was true to his word and, having looked at the boiler the following day, telephoned to advised me that he was as sure as he could be that the PCB board needed replacing, although it was never possible to be totally sure. He told me he could obtain the replacement part immediately and notified me of the cost. He informed that he would only charge for the labour in fitting the part (£60) and therefore not his initial inspection. I therefore instructed him to replace the PCB board. He was able to arrange with the tenants to fit the PCD board the following day and telephoned me immediately afterwards to say the boiler was now working fine. Therefore, from my initial contact with Simon Anderson to the matter being resolved took about 48 hours. As a landlord, I needed someone who I could totally rely on to deal with this matter quickly, efficiently and cost effectively and I believe Simon Anderson did just that. I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending him.

The quality of care given to the job was 1st rate. I complimented and thanked Simon for looking after my house as if it were his own. You certainly can't buy that level of attention to detail and as I worked away from home and could not project manage the job on a day to day basis, having someone onsite that would keep a keen eye on things was crucial. It was because of this that I decided to use Checkatrade to find the right company. SA Services were appointed and they took care of stripping the entire house back to bare plaster, replastering the ceilings, replacing all the light fittings and lights, rewiring the house and replacing my clapped out boiler. All the doors were stripped down and new door furniture fitted. Floor and wall tiles were laid as well as Oak flooring to the entire ground floor and installing sliding/ folding patio doors. The walls outside were repainted, double glazed bay windows replaced and my chimney stack repointed, re-rendered and painted. This was a mammoth job make no mistake about it! Where there have been 'snags' Simon came round promptly to fix them. I intend to rent the house out and Simon will be retained to maintain and manage the property as and when required. He is a super chap to work with and always very polite. I found him easy to work with and very trustworthy. As good as other companies might be, in my experience you will not find any company better than SA Services and Simon Anderson to look after you. He certainly comes highly recommended.

Really pleased with the quality of the work, which represented excellent value for money. Simon is a really nice guy, with a great attitude, and was able to provide all the bathroom equipment we needed at trade prices, which makes a big difference. Job took as long as expected, and he even came round afterwards to sort out a couple of niggles we had - great customer service. I'd recommend to anyone planning to have similar work done.

I contacted SA Services based on the feedback on this website and didn't regret it. Simon completely refurbished our old-fashioned bathroom, replastering the walls and ceiling where necessary and dealt with unforeseen issues (such as having to re-wire our electrics) in a timely manner. He and his co-worker Steve painted the hallway, living room\lounge, the landing and my daughter's bedroom. Although we'd asked for the hallway and landing to be lined with paper then painted, the walls were so bad they ended up skimming them instead and then painting. The finished result is superb. It looks like a new house. Steve also plastered over the garish brickwork fireplace we had in the living room with a smooth finish and painted it. My parents thought it was a new fireplace. Overall we are extremely happy with the workmanship. Would definitely recommend.
