We have used SCR for installing and servicing

Fitted new bathroom.
Steve and Jamie did a great job. I am not the easiest of people to please but these two did. Will be using Steve again soon to refit downstairs toilet. Thoroughly recommend this company.

Lack of pressure on hot water side.
Came over and investigated the problem, tried to solve the problem via cleaning out, (as informed this may not work, but improved to get as by until the part arrived) kept us fully informed when the part was in and when he could fit it, was very polite, very clean. Very clear pricing, honest and explained it all. Will be using again.

Replacement of hot water cylinder, pump, port valve and tidy up of existing pipe work.
We used Steve 18 months ago to replace and move our boiler and were very pleased with his work. Following a recent "emergency" at a rented property, Steve was able to attend, diagnose the problems and fix them asap. Steve's work is neat and tidy. He is friendly, reliable, gives an honest assessment, very professional and even takes his shoes off indoors! We would have no hesitation in recommending Steve and SCR Plumbing and Heating.

Drain hot water and fit replacement thermostat.
Steve came out to take a look at our rather old system as there had been an issue with our hot water which didn't seem to be having a cut off point when heating. He took a look at what we needed and because it was an old tank and the thermostat was obsolete, he ordered a replacement. He then phoned me when he had the part to make an appointment to re visit to fit and drain down the tank. It all went according to his plans, drained everything down and then made sure everything worked.

Broken boiler.
My boiler started to leak quite badly and I didn't know what to do. Steve called me straight back at 21:45, explained what I needed to do to stop the water and kindly agreed to come the next morning at 07:30. He and his colleague Jamie arrived promptly at 7:30 sorted the problem. They were very friendly, approachable and re-assuring. They explained what was wrong and have arranged to return to do some additional work. I would highly recommend SCR Plumbing and Heating. Great guys. Thank you.

Leaking shower tray.
Our Shower Tray was leaking and causing damage to our wall mainly due to not being installed and sealed correctly when they built our house. We asked SCR to quote and repair. Were really helpful and gave us a "worse case scenario" due to needing to take the shower apart first before being certain of the problem. Fortunately it was "best case scenario" when they took it apart and was fixed within a couple of hours and have had no problems since. Based on this experience we also paid them to fix two leaking showers and carry out a service on our boiler. Could not recommend them highly enough, on time, very honest and got the job done.
