This was a fairly large job with two rooms (walls and ceilings) being completely stripped back of all the existing plaster to the brickwork and laths removed, new plasterboard fitted and a topcoat of plaster applied. Simon was a pleasure to have around the house to do the work - he was very friendly and professional, right through from providing an initial written inclusive quote (so no surprises at a later date), tidying up each day, keeping me informed as to how he was getting on etc. Importantly, the work has been performed to an incrediblly high standard - the walls and ceilings are as smooth and flat as could be possible. In renovating my bathroom, I've been juggling various trades. In the process of removing redundant pipe work and a large shower valve, the bathroom wall became extensively damaged (not a repair for a DIY'er). SDC is local to me; after calling and explaining my predicament (i.E. The need for a prompt fix) SDC visited me on the same day and completed the works the next day...remember, this was in the final lead-up to Xmas, so I was extremely impressed at their responsiveness. And very much appreciated it! Simon did a great job for me and I will definitely use him for my future plastering needs.

We have used Simon for two rooms in our house already and so when we came to need our hallway and landing done, we didn't hesitate but to contact him. He arranged to give us a quote quickly and the price way very reasonable. He completed the difficult job quickly and perfectly whilst we were at work and felt fine him being in the house during that time. Simon turned up on time and started work straight away. He was friendly and a pleasure to be around. I would describe the quality of his work as outstanding, he made it look simple but the finished walls were absolutely first rate. I have just tiled the wall he did in the bathroom and every single tile sat flat against it with not even the slightest hint of a wobble that you get when a surface is slightly uneven. He completed both walls on the same day as promised and left the place cleaner than it was before he arrived. I thoroughly recommend Simon.

Simon is a true professional, not to mention helpful, approachable and honest. I telephoned him, he come and quoted when he said he would (quite a few didn't even bother to turn up), provided invaluable advice, gave a very fair price and was realistic about his time scale, turned up to undertake the work when he said he would, finished when he said he would, and even mopped the floor after himself!. Working away from home, I felt confidence in leaving Simon the keys to just get on, and he did not disappoint. No surprise really that he is booked up in advance, but the wait is very much worth it for the standard of his work. I have already asked Simon to price for the next project I am looking to start.

We found Simon right from the first quotation to the finished wall to be sincere, helpful, informative about all the aspects of what he was doing and why. When I asked for a demo' he readily agreed, I was very impressed. A very clean and tidy worker who kept the dust and debris down to a bare minimum. Hoovered and cleaned all areas in a very methodical manner. My boyfriend and I called Simon after we had a disaster with lining paper. Simon came around, even though it was a weekend, to check the work out and give us a quote. We were pleased with the amount and asked him to start a couple of weeks later. Simon turned up on time to do the work and was friendly and approachable. We felt absolutely confident about leaving him in the house for the day and giving him some keys. We were impressed with the care he took to cover the floors to protect them. He even left us a note about the work for us to see when we got home. On the second and third days of his being here, I was actually ill and off work. I wouldn't have known he was here. He was quiet, polite and hardworking. I felt completely comfortable with him in the house. The work (which included a very difficult arch and bay window) looks amazing! Perfect finish and stunning work. Simon also cleared up perfectly and even washed down the floor. It looks amazing and I cannot wait to paint the walls and move into the room. To be honest I can't fault Simon's work. He was extremely punctual, tidy and, most importantly, provided us with perfectly smooth walls in our Hall, Dining and Living Room. His coving work is top quality too. I've never before looked at a flat white surface before with such awe.

Simon done a wonderful job of our rendering I have a well established garden and Simon took great care in not damaging any plants and over seeing the scaffolding to make sure they were careful. They were extremely tidy and clean and my house now looks wonderful my plants have a wonderful new backdrop which makes my garden look brilliant thanks again SDC Plastering services I have already recommended them to anyone who will listen.
