“20 minutes to look for potential leak.- charged £96 for the privilege. Even though I was prepared for company to return for 3 - 4 hours work they still insisted the £96 be paid for this initial "sales" visit. Complete joke - sorry. I will never use or recommend this company again. Also the invoice was inaccurate in stating toilet repair - whereas no work was done.”

The customer contacted Serviceteam to report a leak. We quoted our rates/terms during the call (the same rates we have been quoting for 10 years plus) to secure a same day ‘emergency’ visit. We established that the problem was due to the excessive build-up of condensation on the concealed cistern – ‘not a leak’. We were on site for 40 minutes, verified by the records from the vehicle tracker. We asked the customer if any other works were needed, he said ‘no’. We requested payment, of £80 + VAT. The customer said he wasn’t going to pay, and threatened to leave a negative review, if we insisted! We reiterated that payment was due, as per the agreed terms. In light of this the customer grudgingly made payment, and left the published review. This review does not accurately reflect the service we provided. We were upfront on costs (and charged accordingly) we arrived within two hours, and on time and correctly diagnosing the issue. However, on this occasion regretfully we have not achieved our 100% client satisfaction goal. Since receiving this complaint we have offered to repay the disputed amount to resolve the situation.
