Company Profile

Shaw Preservations was established in 1974 and has a very strong reputation with the remedial industry.   We are have resisted the urge to grow  as we feel by staying relatively small we can offer a more personal service. 

We have fully qualified surveyors and are members of the PCA (formerly known as the BWPDA) for over 38 years and are also members of the structural waterproofing group (SWG) Surrey Trading Standards/Trustmark.  All our surveyors are salaried (ie they don't work on comission - negating the need to 'find' work to top up their income and our office staff are highly trained to answer any questions you have.

Survey to check for damp problem

Surveyor turned up at correct time and after completing several checks, established there were no damp problems, only condensation due to humidty and lack of extractor fans. Proves they are honest, reliable and don't invent problems to get work. I would recommend Shaw preservations Ltd to anyone who thinks they have damp problems as this company won't rip you off.

New floor screed and DPC.

The office staff were friendly and helpful and the surveyor was very thorough in his inspection and gave good advice. The workmen were friendly and gave excellent customer service. I preferred the inspection and report against other companies and the price was competitive. Shaw Preservations are a worthy and excellent company and I have no reservation in recommending them.
