I received great customer service in getting back to my enquiry about emergency callout within minutes. They arrived well before the estimated time and were friendly and polite. They soon had the leak fixed with no mess and very reasonable charges. I would highly recommend.

It's very rare indeed to get service like that given by Steve Sines. Nothing was too much trouble, the finished job was to the highest standards, the testing was more thorough than I could have ever imagined. He was clean tidy and very efficient! He was a great pleasure to deal with. I will most certainly call on him again for my next plumbing or gas installation job.

We first found Sines Plumbing and Heating on Checkatrade when our heating pump started making an ominous noise. Steve came out at a time convenient to us and was able to replace the pump there and then. Even though it took longer than expected due to the state of our pipes and they had to replace a valve and some pipe, he kept to the original price. The cost of the pump that he sold to us was also very competitive to those we had seen on line. We got Steve back shortly afterwards to carry out a powerflush and were amazed at the results. It was very satisfying to see what came out of our system and a couple of radiators that had never worked in the 5 years we had been at our house started working again straight away. Steve even asked us if there was anything else they could look at such as leaky taps while they did the powerflush as there is a fair bit of waiting. We most recently had Sines back again to fit a new cassette style gas fire. This included building the frame, plasterwork, painting, fitting a new flue. The finish is excellent and we are extremely pleased. Even though it was a lot more work and required more expensive materials than expected due to the type of fire we bought (special plasterboard and plaster had to be used). Steve did not increase the cost from his original estimate at all. Steve and everyone that works for Sines Plumbing were extremely courteous and tidy. They tidied and hoovered up after each day even though they were expecting to come back the next day. They always took their shoes off and left them outside the property. I have recommend Sines Plumbing to all of my friends and will certainly never consider using anyone else now we've found them.

We are very sceptical when employing tradesman for the first time. However our fears were completely unfounded as Steve Sines and his team of 2 were very trustworthy and had a cordial approach . They were true their word, undertaking the job at the price agreed. We had our old radiators replaced by new ones and had the system power flushed. Also our boiler was given a service. We were delighted with outcome and it has improved the efficiency of our heating. They also respected us and our house removing their shoes each time they entered .When the work was completed they cleared up and left no mess whatsoever, From our experience. We can certainly recommend this company and they are worthy of the rating we have given them

Steve came out to certify the existing gas cooker in my tenanted flat. Unfortunately he had to condemn it but, to my relief and amazement, didn't charge me for that visit. We arranged a new date when he fitted the replacement. He and his apprentice (?) also kindly took the old one down three flights of stairs and took great trouble in getting the new cooker to fit the space correctly, and all within the originally quoted price. Wish I'd found him sooner.

This firm came personally recommended by a family member of mine. I was extremely pleased with the job. The plumber and his mate were scrupulously clean, punctual and very efficient and professional. Excellent job very well done! Always cleaned up after themselves. Very polite and friendly. Very knowledgeable including the apprentice which shows high standard of training. Power flush is brilliant, the house is so warm now I've had to turn some of the radiators down! Did a couple of extra jobs for me. Installed two carbon monoxide detectors and cleared a blockage on one of the burners on my hob without charging me extra. Couldn't recommend enough, a days work well done and well worth it. The work was completed to a high standard with attention to detail. Dust sheets were used where possible, any mess was cleaned up and all rubbish was removed. Progress was reported at regular intervals and no issues were resolved without offering a choice of solutions. The workers were friendly and polite, it was almost like having the work carried out by a mate.

Steve came over at very short notice to investigate why our heating system had failed. This failure coincided with coldest week of the year. Steve fitted in our emergency over 2 consecutive evenings until the problem was resolved working until late in the evening. He was polite and spent time to describe what he was doing as he investigated the problem. I would recommend Steve and will use him again in the future.

A very efficient job undertaken with the minimum of fuss. Corrected fault in both boiler and basin tap plus a complete service of Bosch boiler and power flush of the whole system. Steve and his team are very professional! The work they did was to a high standard and they kept the place very tidy. Though no fault of their own and through some reckless previous DIY they had to fix a number of additional issues. The job was to install a new boiler. They went as far as to re-fix all my top kitchen cabinets, re-tile broken tiles in my kitchen floor and around a toilet, re-fit the whole under sink plumbing and fix a bent mains gas pipe outside. All as part of the original quote. Bless them, they got more than they bargained for and remain cheerful and did the additional work on a Saturday too. I have been so pleased with their services and professionalism I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to absolutely everyone who needs a plumber that I know of.

I would most certainly recommend Steve and his team to anyone looking to get a boiler installed. They were punctual, extremely tidy and customer care was their first priority! Our old boiler had to be moved and the system upgraded. This was carried out to perfection. We were only without heating for a few hours which was to be expected with the work that was carried out. All in all the best experience we have ever had with a company that we have not dealt with before but will certainly be our first call in future. Thanks for a great job well done.

I phoned Steve on a Thursday night at 7.30 and explained the problem. We both agreed on the possible cause of the problem and Steve gave me a quotation for the parts plus his labour charge which seemed quite reasonable. We agreed a visit for 11.00 am the next day and Steve turned up spot on time. He would have been early had it not been for the confusing layout of our road. Steve was friendly, courteous and professional even down to the point of removing his shoes before entering the property. Certainly he was of a character where one felt comfortable with. After completing the work, well within the estimated time he answered questions on other potential problems and the placement of CO2 alarms. At no time was he pushy to sell anything extra or carry out any extra work. In this day when there is a lot of suspicion with regard to tradesmen, especially when they are not found by recommendation, I would not hesitate to say that Sines Plumbing and Heating will be on my list of preferred tradesmen and that I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone picking a name out of a directory.

Steve and his team were very professional and caring about our safety. I originally asked him to come over as he is very local to us to have a look at a dripping overflow. At the same time he did a once over of the system and detected leaking gas at the flue of the boiler. He shut the system down and clearly laid out our options. He also went above and beyond his duty and brought us over a couple of heaters to see us through which I thought was a kind gesture. I cannot recommend Steve and his team high enough, tidy professional workers with a friendly disposition.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Steve and his team to anyone looking to get a boiler installed. They were punctual, extremely tidy and made it clear that keeping the customer happy was their 1st priority! Our old hot water cylinder was rusted through (something that couldn't have been foreseen until it was out) and Steve replaced this for a new one, without charge. Turned the heating on this year as the cold weather set in, started up fine then all of a sudden radiators were not working. Phoned around lots of plumbers out of the yellow pages but they couldn't come round until a few days time, so we were left with no heating, a cold house with a small child. I racked my brains at what I could do, luckily my brother recommended Steve. I called him and within 2 hours he was at my house and stayed late at night until it was semi working and a warmer house. His team came back to do a power flush and eventually with a lot of persevering got the whole system working again. I would highly recommend Steve and his team, it was a pleasure to have them working in our house. They are honest, reliable and hardworking! It can be rare to find workmen that tick all those boxes. Identifying the boiler fault took a while but we were very impressed by Steve's thoroughness in identifying the fault and then repairing. Steve is very amicable and he explained what he was doing and what the problem was in a way easily understood by folks with no knowledge of plumbing. The fee ultimately charged was also in my opinion very reasonable for the time spent at our house plus cost of parts. I can't recommend Sines highly enough. They are brilliant! In a long, difficult, stressful building project, during which we were let down a lot by others, they were uniformly excellent! I don't know if there are more of them, but we had Desio, Steve and Dobby (who claims not to mind everyone calling him this) and they really were wonderful. I don't have shares in them, don't know them other than through the work they have done for us, but they are genuinely really sound people who work very hard and do a fantastic job, so I thought more people should know about them! And unlike almost every other trade on this build, they even cleaned up very carefully and thoroughly afterwards. Your only problem might be getting them in the first place, as clearly we aren't the only ones to know about them and they seem to be pretty busy, but I guess even that is a good thing. The date given is only because Checkatrade won't allow you to pick more than a single day. In reality, they worked for us on and off all summer and into September/October this year. They are 1st class plumbers and no, they haven't paid me to say any of this! From what we have seen over this building project, excellent workmen are hard to come by and knowing that Sines really are brilliant, having used them extensively over quite a long period without any issue at all, we won't use any other plumbers ever again!

Our company replaces worktops and naturally we require a gas safety fitter to re-fit the hob, Steve was recommended to us so we tried him. This was a small job but Steve was happy to take it on and the charge was below what we expected. Steve was running late but he still turned up after 7.00 pm!! Our client was delighted and so were we. Great service.

I phoned Steve during the day and he came round after work as it was freezing and I had no heating. He was able to get the boiler going and its been running well since then. He was recommended to me by a friend and I have already recommended him to my mum.
