We chose Stephen after looking at his work on this site. He visited on a couple of occasions to discuss our requirements, giving us various options and pricing. He was very clean and tidy, always punctual and we were very happy to leave him alone in our house. He gave us very good advice, was extremely patient with our various questions and was happy for us to contact him once the job was finished should we need any further help. The finished wardrobes are fantastic, better than we could have hoped for. We will definitely be recommending Stephen and using him again.

We are delighted with Stephen - we already have more work booked with him . Work required was discussed beforehand and on going and agreed with us at all times . Worked methodically and produced a very high standard of work. He even hung on for a delivery of doors as we were able to trust him in the property while we were at work. Nice chap too and was tidy throughout. A rare breed indeed.

Stephen turned up on time to give a quotation and quickly (and very honestly) suggested a simple and cost effective fix to the door. Fixed the door there and then in 10 minutes. Stephen's honesty is very refreshing after paying over £100 the week before to another tradesman who did not fix the issue. Highly recommended Stephen and will definitely be using again.

Steve was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Punctual, knowledgeable, tidy, trustworthy, takes a real pride in being a true perfectionist which is rare. The quality of the work is excellent - our house is Victorian with some historic movement which means very few straight lines to work with. The cupboards and shelves are 100% straight however; Steve left the spirit levels in place each night to prove it. I was dubious whether our rather nice but somewhat warped front door could be made to hang properly before the installation of new locks and furniture but I needn't have been concerned as Steve sorted it out as well as strengthening a further final exit door. We will certainly be using Steve again.

Steve fitted my B&Q kitchen and the quality of his work made it look like a bespoke kitchen of the highest quality. He treated my bungalow with the respect as if it was his own. We cannot rate Steve highly enough - not only was his work and the finished result first class, but just as importantly his approach from start to end made the whole process stress-free. We sought quotes from four different check-a-trade members and not only was Steve's the most competitive, but he was the only one of the four to provide it in writing. We were also really impressed by the fact that he agreed to take the work on even after it was discovered that unusually the door frames in our house are metal which added complications to the job. Steve's reliability and time-keeping were impeccable and it made such a refreshing change to be dealing with someone who responds to calls and texts promptly and kept us well-informed throughout. He also advised on good quality materials and where they could be purchased. In short a really hard-working professional who is honest, trustworthy, friendly and respectful of both people and property. Steve surpassed all of our expectations and we have pleasure in whole-heartedly recommending him and his work and will be passing on his details to family and friends.

He has done lots of work for me ranging from 2 beautiful lounge display cabinets, kitchen cabinets, dresser for my hallway, shelves in awkward spaces for my shoes, cupboard in the bathroom to go around my boiler, floor to ceiling adjustable bookshelves!!! Kitchen cabinets 4. 2 fireside alcove cabinets All his work has been fabulous. He turns up on time and works incredibly hard. He regularly checks that we are happy with the design and then builds what we ask. The fireside alcove cabinets were best since he dealt with our tricky requirements for hidden cabling (and there is a lot of it!). Steve has an excellent eye for detail, is totally trustworthy and best of all, is a pleasure to have around. Work carried out: put lining paper throughout the hallway (downstairs and upstairs); fitted new skirting. Channelled brickwork to hide old wiring. re-plastered. Fixed creaking staircase. Fitted wooden blinds to windows. Fitted new outside security lamp which had to be wired up through hallway to existing point from the lounge.

We had our catflap fitted into our garage wall which required a whole being made into the brickwork. Also made up some brick steps for the cats to walk out onto in the garden. Work was done to high standard - very neat and tidy.

We purhcased a new PVC front door separately. Stephen fitted into our existing door frame which required a new frame to be made to fit the new door. Accessories for the door ie. locks etc fitted as well. Very happy with the work.
