Smart Building Services Ltd is a General Building Company & Property Maintenance Contractor. With over 20 years experience in the building industry.

I have carried out all general building work from Extensions to Loft conversions and Refurbishments through to Painting and Decorating. I am a City & Guilds certified Bricklayer and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying & Construction and I am very experienced in Tiling having had a Tiling Business for 10 years and I am Certified to install Firestone Rubber Roofing Systems and Rubberbond EPDM and also Cure It Fibreglass so I am experienced in all kinds of Roofing work. I have 20 years experience in Painting and Decorating so I know how to achieve a quality finish and I have also undertaken a Plastering Splitter Course. I and any sub-contractors I use are all experienced tradesman who will only do work to a good standard. I undertake work for several property management companies and carry out a lot of private contracts, I have references to view for your perusal. All Electrical work will only be undertaken by Certified Tradesmen with the approved Part P of the Building Regulations. I will only use Gas Certified Trained Plumbers.

My prices are competitive, and I aim to finish the job in the agreed time frame, weather permitting. I have ongoing jobs at the moment for you to inspect for peace of mind. I also have several references if you wish to view them or speak to the client for whom I have carried out work.

I carry Public Liability Insurance of £2,000,000 which you can see at any time this is increased to £10,000,000 on larger contracts, should you wish to meet with me or arrange a site visit.

Rebuilding a side wall using old stones.

Cracked garage roof replaced and side room felt roof replaced.
I wanted a simple replacement to keep the cost down, but it to be made watertight and to look smart. Scott was very clear about my options and what would be cheaper and what would work best. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, which was very reassuring. The work was done over two days in a very neat and tidy way and I am very pleased with the finished article. I would recommend them.

Removed one wall, installed two partition walls and then two new bathroom suites. Included all tiling, plastering, electrical and plumbing. They advised on building control requirements and helped us through that process. We were happy with the work that was done and the final result. Any issues that we had during the works were quickly resolved. There was some cleaning and tidying required by us at the end of the works. We would use them again.
