South Coast Building & Roofing Contractors was formed by Roger Sharp in 2001 as a sole trader employing just one other. Due to demand and recommendation alone we have grown to its current size and stature employing a team of eleven dedicated and skilled craftsmen. We cover all aspects of construction from small internal conversions through to major structural work, conversions, refurbishments and new builds alike.
Every project we undertake is both constructed and finished to the highest standard paying particular attention to detail. Roger personally project manages every contract we undertake giving our clients just one point of contact and piece of mind that trades are sequenced in the correct order. Schedules are met and solutions are applied to overcome problems should they occur. Our current client base includes many satisfied residential and commercial clients. We have also been recommended by local Architects, Building Surveyors and Structural Engineers for a variety of local projects and structural works.
Access & Mobility Division As a result of market research and a recent extension and conversion to Melrose Care Home in Worthing we have recently branched out to form an Access & Mobility Division this wing will undertake the installation of wet rooms, bathrooms, easy access Kitchens, access Ramps, stair lifts along with all other types of solution to make home life easier for the infirm and less abled alike. Due to the core of the business being construction we are also be able to create and install wider door openings for wheelchair access. We can also design a tailor made access solution to your current dwelling giving you the comfort of enjoying your own home.

Supply and Fitting of 3 Double Glazed Windows

Roof repairs, including new lead flashings and lead gully and re-build of firewall
Roger impressed me from the start as he took his time to explain to me the (sometimes complicated!) problems on our leaky roof. Communication about how works were progressing was good. Workmanship was thorough and care was taken to stick to a reasonable budget, so no unnecessary work was undertaken. Roger even volunteered to liaise with our insurance company and produced a report for this purpose, which exceeded my expectations.
