I engaged Corin to carry out this work as a present to my uncle from me. As I live in Farnham surrey and the work was in Worthing, it was important to have good communication. I have to say that Corin kept me informed on progress and attended to all our requests. I visited during the course of the works and was very pleased with progress. Back in August Corin Bashford and his team had replaced our upstairs bathroom, integrating the space of a formerly separate toilet and airing cupboard to make a larger single bathroom. This freed up enough space to enable us to then have a separate shower cubicle in addition to the bath. We were so pleased with the work they carried out then that we had no hesitation in having him undertake constructing a downstairs toilet with kitchen modifications which were carried out to the same high standards.

He was not interested in the problem and threatened to blacklist me and told me I was rude etc which is just very unprofessional and untrue. 'Typical' general public view of certain builders. I feel that if contacts me again with anything stronger than above I will inform the police.

Cheapest of three quotes. Responded to questions far better than the others. The other two needed prompting. Best design of the three.
Turned up on time, and did the work according to his schedule. Unforeseen difficulties overcome without effort. Minimal disruption. Cleaned and tidied up every day. (Even vacuumed the carpet in the communal area - every day.) Completed work exactly on time. Stunning bathroom. Would thoroughly recommend Corin to anyone.

Provided ensuite shower room to a high standard. Excellent work. Only problem plasterers tipped waste plaster down drain, causing a mess in the road, I had to clean it. I had to get rid of on-site rubbish myself, as still there a week later, excuses were given.

Unfortunately plasterers did tip away waste in drain, we returned to scrub the road, as it had adhered to the tarmac. It is our usual practise to remove all rubbish at the end of the contract, this we would still have done, however customer was unhappy the rubbish was not removed during the project.

When on the site, work is generally of an acceptable standard and undertaken with reasonable speed. However, they seem to have little control over appearence on site of decorators to the extent that the work was not entirely completed despite many attempts by me on the phone to reach completion.

This original work estimated for went perfectly, after which the customer wanted some EXTRA tiling done in the ensuite bathroom, which were marble and special order. I personally travelled to Brighton twice, to find that the customer made a mistake with delivery dates. I also went to "Tops Tiles" to collect the original order for the customer at no extra charge for any of these visits. After my contract had finished the customer had to book a date with the tiler, who I no longer use, unfortunately they let him down twice, after agreeing times and dates, therefore reflecting on myself. The decorating that I saw was top notch, but again I dont get involved with decorating normally, I gave the customer the decorators number so we could all have contact, the photo will be on our company website for all to see.

All work carried out by Splash Bathrooms carries a 1 year guarantee on labour and materials. All products supplied by Splash Bathrooms are guaranteed as per the manufacturers details.
Unfortunately after all works were finished and all the extras done, with no additional charge, the customer decided she wanted a deduction on the plastering costs, this was after agreeing to the estimate originally, so she still owes £300. She is therefore wondering why I am reluctant to go round and adjust the flush level in the cistern of the WC.
The customer was given a test certificate for the boiler but has misplaced it and is now requesting another.
As everybody can see, this customer has scored the job very low compared to all my other clients. She has given 5 for estimating accuracy. I would state that as no extras were charged for then my estimating was 100% accurate. She also gave 5 for quality of workmanship. I would state that I have my own website www.splashbathrooms.biz where all my future customers will be able to see this customer's wetroom before and after the works were carried out and they can therefore decide for themselves the quality of workmanship.
