Cant knock Scott and the team, very polite and extremely professional. Driveways have only just been laid so time will be the ultimate test of his work but I really can't knock the end result or the way in which they went around their work. My neighbour is already lining up Scott after seeing the work he did for me (althought my cry of "Scott's a cowboy" through the garden hedge may have altered their minds). Seriously, he's not a cowboy and if you need a driveway done don't think twice bout using these guys. I think the bacon sandwiches one morning may have helped as well! :-) Final thoughts, can you imagine any other tradesman washing a neighbours car which got covered in dust as a result of the paving being cut and then not mentioning it to you as it's all in a days work? No, me neither. Good work Scott!

The work undertaken was done to an exceptional level of craftsmanship. We are very happy indeed with the outcome and would highly recommend them to anyone. Scott and his team always arrived as promised each morning at 7.45 and left each night with all areas left clean and tidy. They are all extremely polite and easy to deal with. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble with friendly and efficient team of three. Finish very good and as promised. Excellent advice given at the outset regarding stone selection and details of installation. A prompt quotation received. Agreed after detailed discussion regarding scope and cost. Some minor additional work done free of charge, small charge for more extensive alteration to brick driveway extension. Very conscientious, even returning to deal with a small worry (unfounded) that I had, demonstrating its resolution.

From the initial quote right through to the finished driveway Scott and his team provided an excellent service. The driveway is just as we had hoped it would be, with a final consultation on the first morning of the job which gave reassurance, and a final product with which we are delighted. On time, on budget and a team who are professional, polite and very hard-working. Laid a block paved path and also block edging all round the garden...and much more! They always listened to our demanding requests and delivered each time with minimal fuss. As we have just had a newborn, we were concerned about the potential disruption but we needn't have worried. Scott is a true professional: he turned up punctually everyday at 8am, worked solidly, and tidied up as far as possible before he left. He gets on with the job with minimum disruption, there were days when we hardly noticed him. And most importantly he deals with all problems he encounters without fuss or bother. We now have a beautiful new driveway and I would thoroughly recommend him.

I believe this to be a shame as this contractor laid a whole new drive for me in November 2008, which is why I asked him to replace the ones that I had leaked oil on. But the slabs were a different colour and he led me to believe (from the manufacturer) that the slabs would eventually wear in and match the others. However, nearly 5 months later, they still look different and despite several calls, where the trader has promised to resolve this, nothing has been done as yet.

The original driveway was completed November 2008, 6 months later I received a call from the customer to replace some blocks that had been spoiled by an oil leak caused by her car. I quoted for materials only and did not include any labour charge as this was free along with 3 site visits. The blocks used for the repair were from the same manufacturer and same colour but due to a six month time difference, different batch numbers were used so a colour variation occurred. The manufacturer had advised that blocks would weather but could not guarantee an identical match. The customer was informed of this on 2 separate occassions. A 5 month period does not give enough time for the weathering process to take place, the only way to achieve a total colour match would be to lay a new driveway. I am sorry for the anger felt by the customer but a total relay in my opinion would be an unnecessary expense for her.

Scott is totally professionally from the first point of contact to the final handshake. We hardly knew that he was there - he and his team worked a solid day even in freezing conditions.
