Removal of defective felt roof covering on flat roof.
Very quick response to original query which included an inspection of work required and an estimate of cost. Was able to start work required within 24 hours and after agreeing quote and date the tradesmen turned up on time and started work immediately. All necessary work done which included removal and disposal of defective covering, cleaning and preparation for installation of new high performance covering. A satellite dish aerial was removed and replaced without any problems and all stages of the work involved was photographed for my approval. A 10 year guarantee was also given. All in all an excellent and thoroughly professional job quickly done with no mess and no inconvenience and costed as quoted. Happy to recommend at any time.

Roof repair and moss removed from roof.
Quote given in timely fashion after initial contact and work carried out a few days later. No mess left, it was impossible to tell that workman had visited. The work to be carried out was explained beforehand and the representative that I dealt with was both friendly and polite.

Re-fixing lead flashing along a parapet wall and re-aligning some guttering.
The work was carried out to a high standard, efficiently and did not intrude on our activities during the day. The gutter was cleaned out as part of the original quoted cost and then the re-alignment was carried out immediately at a minimal extra cost which meant he did not have to come back another day.

Removal and re-seating all ridge tiles and fitted eaves fillers.
I was very satisfied with the work carried out. A number of new tiles were required and these were fitted at no extra cost. Also the whole roof was cleared of lichen and other vegetation. In addition a large flat roof area was also swept off and again, this was done without any extra charge to me. The price quoted was the price I paid. The finished job looks very good and the whole area was swept on completion of the work. St James Roofing is an excellent company and I will certainly use them again when the need arises. I would also recommend them to anybody else who needs to have any roof work undertaken.

New roof felt.
Had all tiles, battens and felt removed for new breathable felt and treated battens. Excising tiles put back and any broken tiles replaced with new, old roof tiles cleared of moss. Very happy with the work and the workers were very polite.
